Rising actress Oh Se young is set to undergo a vibrant transformation as the female lead of MBNâs upcoming romantic comedy What a Boss Wants.
Scheduled for a November premiere, the webtoon-based drama explores a “taste-targeting” romance between Kwon Do hyuk (Sung Hoon), a zero-taste chaebol boss searching for a mystery woman named “Her” in a music album, and Lee Eun chae (Oh Se young), an unpredictable indie vocalist who becomes the only flaw in his perfectly calculated life.
Director Kang Sol (Delivery Man) and writer Nam Ji yeon (Bitter Sweet Hell) have joined forces to bring the hit Naver web novel and webtoon by Chiccre to life.

Oh Se young stars as Lee Eun chae, a relatable young woman struggling through the competitive job market by day. Behind her family’s back, however, she takes the stage at night as “Soo,” the charismatic lead vocalist for the indie band Indie Red.
Described as the walking embodiment of human emotion, Eun chae possesses endless positivity, quirky humor, and unfiltered honesty. Despite life’s setbacks, she always finds her own happinessâand her own voiceâon stage.

Eun chae’s carefully balanced secret life gets thrown into chaos when she collides with Kwon Do hyuk, an MIT-educated AI genius who acts more like an algorithm than a human being.
While trying to hide her secret rocker identity, Eun chae constantly clashes with the cold CEO. Their fiery bickering soon gives way to unexpected romantic tension as Eun chae’s human warmth disrupts Do hyuk’s emotionless world.
