The episode opens with Abhira deep in thought, her mind preoccupied with the enigmatic elements of Myra’s drawing, specifically focusing on the number 5000. She recalls a recent dream, further deepening her confusion about the true meaning and significance of the number 5000 in her life.
Suddenly, Abhir arrives, carrying a very large parcel addressed to Abhira. He informs her that Manish specifically instructed him to deliver the package to her in private. Abhir wonders aloud why Manish consistently sends mysterious, secret parcels to Abhira. Abhira questions why Manish is unable to deliver the packages himself. Abhir then changes the subject and invites Abhira to accompany him to Japan. Abhira immediately confronts him, asking if he is making plans to return to Japan permanently. Abhir evasively tells her to enjoy the contents of the parcel and promises that they will discuss his plans later.
Abhira proceeds to open the large parcel and finds her family tree inside, a discovery that instantly makes her deeply emotional. She speaks to herself, declaring that she will no longer feel isolated because her entire family lineage is now physically present with her. She then finds and reads an accompanying letter from Manish.
In the letter, Manish instructs Abhira to carry forward the immense family legacy. He informs her that 4,999 barriers have already been successfully crossed, and now it is her vital responsibility to ensure the legacy continues. He asks her to keep the family firmly united and, eventually, to pass this precious legacy on to Myra. Reading this, Abhira is completely overwhelmed and breaks down into tears, feeling intensely that she will be unable to shoulder such a responsibility because her own family unit is currently fractured. She expresses deep regret that she won’t be able to fulfill the promise of passing the family tree to Myra, noting that Kaveri is separated from the others and the Poddar family as a whole is alarmingly heading toward partition.
Distraught, Abhira talks to Hina’s photograph, earnestly asking for guidance on how she can possibly keep the family together. She makes a fervent vow that she will not allow the family legacy to be broken and promises herself that she will reunite the Poddar family, no matter the difficulty.
In another part of the house, Arman asks Myra about the balloons she has. Myra explains that Madhav bought the balloons to celebrate the upcoming completion of 50 years of her school. She recalls that her teacher had asked her to bring balloons with the number “50” written on them. Arman points out that the balloons actually have “5000” written on them instead. Myra shrugs, suggesting the balloon seller must have simply made a mistake. She then asks Arman a pointed question: why are the Poddars still sitting separately when Arman himself managed to stop the family partition?
Suddenly, everyone in the family receives a message from Abhira. Arman, concerned, asks her if she is alright, and Abhira responds that she is not. She informs the Poddars about the family legacy she has received and earnestly requests their help in honoring it. She states her desire to share the inspiring story behind her legacy and asks to hold a small celebration so that she can effectively continue the family tradition. Kaveri and Vidya immediately refuse to support her, telling Abhira to handle her personal issue on her own. Krish adds dismissively that no one is interested in listening to Abhira’s legacy story. Tanya mocks her, stating they are not schoolchildren who need Abhira to narrate stories, and bitterly declares that the “happy Poddar family” is now nothing more than history.
Arman steps in to defend Abhira, reminding everyone that she has consistently supported them in their times of need, and asks them to stand by her now. Kaveri reluctantly gives in, telling Abhira that she can do whatever she wants, but strictly limiting her to only one hour for the event. Abhira becomes instantly excited at the prospect of sharing the story of Akshara, Naira, and Akshu with the entire Poddar family. She warmly thanks Arman, who reassures her that this celebration will certainly not be their last one together.
The Poddars, though still hesitant, prepare themselves for the celebration of Abhira’s legacy. Abhira begins sharing the story of Akshara and Naitik, explaining how their initial arranged marriage eventually blossomed into a deep and enduring love. She notes that while Akshara and Naitik were separated at one time, their dedicated family was ultimately responsible for bringing them back together.
Precap: The episode ends with a sneak peek showing Arman and Abhira making a firm vow to reunite the Poddar family at any cost. Arman asks Abhira to stand by him and support his efforts in this mission.
