In today’s episode, Abhira is engaged in cleaning the university, a task that seems mundane yet carries a weight of memories. As she meticulously wipes down surfaces, her gaze falls upon a black coat hanging nearby. This sight triggers a flood of memories from her past, causing a wave of restlessness to wash over her. She finds herself lost in thought, grappling with the emotions that arise from her recollections.
Meanwhile, Jaya, a fellow inmate, expresses her gratitude towards Abhira for the assistance she has provided. This moment of appreciation prompts Abhira to reflect on her own situation. She wonders aloud how she ended up in jail despite not having committed any crime. The people surrounding her seem peculiar, adding to her feelings of isolation and confusion.
Jaya, sensing Abhira’s turmoil, shares a poignant story. She mentions that Abhira reminds her of someone from her past. She reveals that she, too, had a daughter. Initially, her daughter would visit her regularly, but over time, those visits dwindled until they stopped altogether. One fateful day, Jaya learned that her daughter had gotten married and had told her in-laws that her mother was deceased. Abhira, moved by Jaya’s story, expresses her sympathy, saying that a mother in such a situation must have been heartbroken. When she inquires further about the woman, Jaya reveals that the story is about her own life. She warns Abhira not to be frightened, stating that in prison, no one truly escapes alive; only dead bodies leave the facility, not living souls.
On the outside, Arman is consumed by worry, believing that Abhira has been hanged. His anxiety grows, and he becomes restless. Geetanjali, a concerned figure in his life, advises him to take care of himself first before attempting to help Abhira. Arman insists that Abhira is suffering because of him, and he cannot bear the thought of her enduring pain due to his actions. He urges Geetanjali to go inside to avoid getting drenched in the rain, fearing that if she does, he will feel an overwhelming sense of guilt.
Back in the jail, Jaya checks on Abhira, asking if she is asleep. Abhira responds, revealing that after waiting seven long years, she finally reunited with her daughter, Maira, and had been sleeping peacefully. However, now she feels as though she is back to square one, trapped in despair. She begins to imagine Arman and Maira coming to visit her, and a deep sense of longing for her daughter envelops her.
Meanwhile, Maira is adamant about not going to school without her parents, Abhira and Arman. In a fit of frustration, she throws her school bag across the room, which causes Tanya, a friend, to drop a picture of Arman. Tanya chastises Maira for her spoiled behavior, trying to instill some discipline. Vidya, another friend, expresses her concern, saying that Tanya is scaring her. Tanya retorts that Maira cannot misbehave with her or with Kaveri, another peer. Geetanjali, witnessing the exchange, takes Maira’s side, trying to defend her.
Maira is left in shock when she learns that Arman has married Geetanjali. This revelation strikes her hard, and she refuses to listen to any explanation, her heart filled with confusion and betrayal.
In the jail, Kesari, a fellow inmate, begins to trouble Abhira while she is performing her cleaning duties, adding to her stress and discomfort.
Precap: The inspector unexpectedly cancels Abhira’s visitation rights, leaving her worried about not being able to meet Arman and learn about Maira’s wellbeing. In a courageous move, Maira decides to visit Abhira alone but faces a dire situation when she gets kidnapped. Abhira, sensing that her daughter is in danger, is filled with dread and urgency.
