The episode begins with Malishka questioning Rishi about his whereabouts. Rishi explains that he was late because he had gone to save Lakshmi. Malishka probes further, asking Rishi if what she heard was true. Rishi confirms that it is indeed true and elaborates on the situation with Malishka. Shocked, Malishka questions Rishi again, confirming if it is the same Lakshmi. Rishi reaffirms that it is indeed Lakshmi, and explains what transpired.
Meanwhile, Ayush confides in Harleen about his reluctance to address Malishka as Bhabhi. Neelam overhears their conversation and advises Ayush to refer to Malishka as Bhabhi. She then takes Ayush away from the discussion.
Rishi expresses his initial disbelief at the fact that Lakshmi is alive, but recounts how he touched and spoke to her. Malishka, still in denial, questions Rishi about how he could have spoken to Lakshmi when she is supposedly dead. Their argument escalates, leading to Rishi breaking a mirror in frustration as he insists that he did indeed meet with the alive Lakshmi.

Rishi showers with his clothes on, thinking about his love for Lakshmi. Neelam doubts that Lakshmi is alive and believes Rishi is hallucinating. Malishka insists that Lakshmi is alive, but Neelam refuses to listen.
