Teri Meri Doriyaann 20th April : Angad’s Pre-engagement Ceremony Fixed !

Our tale begins with Sahiba, her eyes narrowing suspiciously at the sight of Angad’s shoes. A clandestine meeting with Akir, she wonders? Is Angad plotting to whisk Akir away? Determined to uncover the truth, Sahiba resolves to investigate Akir’s mysterious companion, a friend she is convinced is more than just a figment of his imagination.

With a prayer on her lips and fear gnawing at her heart, Sahiba whisks Akir away, a sacred thread tied around his wrist as a protective charm. Meanwhile, Daljeet and Akir find themselves immersed in the selfless service of Langar.

Enter Harmeet, her family in tow, stepping into the Gurudwara that holds the echoes of her past – a past where she left her son on the very steps of this holy place. As dizziness threatens to overcome her, Daljeet is there, offering her water and a steady hand. With a grateful nod, Harmeet watches as Daljeet leaves with Akir, her heart whispering a silent prayer for her son’s safety.

In another part of the world, a doctor marvels at Sahiba’s artistic prowess, her painting adorning the wall. An invitation is extended to Sahiba to bring her art to the hospital walls, a new pediatric ward in the making. Sahiba, with a nod of agreement, accepts.

Amu, intrigued by a wall that Angad claims to have run into, finds herself admiring Sahiba’s design etched onto it. Compliments flow freely from Amu, only to be met with Angad’s dismissive remarks. A war of words ensues between Sahiba and Angad, ending with Angad steering Amu away. The revelation of Sahiba being the artist from Angad’s past leaves Amu in a state of surprise.

Manveer, noticing Angad’s distraction, urges him to let go of his fixation on Sahiba. He reminds Angad of the years he lost to his obsession with Sahiba and suggests a fresh start – a new marriage with Amu.

Harmeet, too, plants the seed of matrimony in Amu’s mind, suggesting she consider Angad as a potential partner. Armindergill advises Amu to ponder over the proposal at her own pace.

Angad, observing Sahiba with her family, makes a decision – it’s time to move on. He agrees to marry Amu, sharing his decision with Manveer. However, he makes it clear to Amu that their union would be based on friendship, not love, a sentiment scarred by past wounds. Amu, understanding his perspective, agrees to the marriage.

Armindergill, protective of his daughter, warns Angad against causing her any harm, a threat Angad takes seriously, promising not to hurt Amu. In a surprising turn of events, Angad requests both families for a Roka ceremony at the Gurudwara, a request that is met with agreement. Sahiba, overhearing the news of Angad’s impending engagement, is left stunned.

And so, the episode draws to a close, leaving behind a trail of questions and anticipation.
