Barsatein 28th December 2023 Written Episode Update
The episode commences with Jai confronting Aradhana for deceiving him, causing him to raise his voice. Reyansh intervenes and cautions Jai against speaking to Aradhana in such a disrespectful manner. He also questions Jai’s faith in Aradhana. To retaliate, Jai mocks Reyansh’s trustworthiness. Suddenly, Jai surprises everyone with a cake, expressing his desire to celebrate his birthday with his wife and admitting that he had staged the argument. Aradhana feels relieved upon realizing that Jai is not angry with her. Jai assures Reyansh that he trusts Aradhana enough not to become insecure about his schemes. Together, Jai and Aradhana cut the cake, with Aradhana singing a birthday song for him. Witnessing this, Reyansh becomes infuriated and abruptly leaves the scene.
Meanwhile, Neeta becomes upset when she finds it difficult to wash her face and complains about her struggles. She calls out for Varun’s assistance, who willingly aids her. Despite Varun’s help, Neeta remains upset and retreats indoors. Meanwhile, Jai and Aradhana are seen walking along the road. Jai reflects upon how everyone is so focused on chasing money, forgetting that there is more to life than just material wealth.
Afterwards, he expresses his regret to Aradhana for not being able to take her out for dinner. Aradhana, however, reassures him that their friendship doesn’t require such formalities and reminds him that they are a team of good friends. Jai then confides in Aradhana about his apprehensions regarding Reyansh’s presence in their lives. Aradhana promises to stand by Jai during his tough times, as they had vowed during their wedding. To Jai’s surprise, Aradhana presents him with a gift, making him realize that she hadn’t forgotten his birthday, which brings him joy. Unbeknownst to them, Reyansh witnesses their interaction from a distance and becomes upset. Jai suggests that he will treat Aradhana by preparing dinner for her. Aradhana agrees to Jai’s plan.
The following day, as Aradhana prepares to leave for home, she sends a message to Jai. Just then, one of her colleagues informs her about a horrific accident and urges her to join him in covering the story. He also alerts their other colleagues.
Feeling tense, Aradhana resolves to finish her work before heading home. From a distance, Reyansh notices Aradhana’s stress and wonders what is causing it.
Jai plans a dinner with Aradhana but upon hearing the news of a horrific accident, he contacts her. Aradhana informs him of her situation and Jai offers his help if needed, to which she agrees.
Aradhana arrives at the site of the accident and broadcasts the story live. She discovers a woman trapped inside a car and assists her in getting out, bringing her back to the office. The woman, named Baani, introduces herself to Aradhana and shares her reason for coming to India to help a dear friend. Memories of her time with Reyansh flood Aradhana’s mind as she contemplates true love. Reyansh eventually arrives, but fails to recognize Baani. Aradhana takes Baani to her home, where she learns about Baani’s friendship with Jai.
Jai and Neeta are delighted when they spot Baani. However, Baani discovers that Aradhana is Jai’s wife, which saddens her. Subsequently, Neeta mockingly insults Aradhana in front of Baani, leaving Aradhana feeling miserable.
Precap: Aradhana approaches Reyansh to gain some insight into the relationship between Baani and Jai. Reyansh reveals to her that Baani has developed romantic feelings for Jai, and he suspects that Jai reciprocates those feelings. Later, at a party, Jai carries Baani in his arms and walks away, an act witnessed by Aradhana and Reyansh from afar.
