Teri Meri Doriyaann 23rd April : Sahiba Confronts the “Kidnappers”

The episode unfolds with Sahiba discovering Akir’s holy thread, sparking concern about his whereabouts. Akir is depicted frolicking on a wooden horse, expressing to his clandestine friend his longing to return to his parents.

Daljeet rouses Sahiba, insisting they must embark on a search for Akir. Sahiba expresses her conviction that Akir’s secret companion is behind his disappearance and insists they must uncover this mysterious friend to locate Akir.

The police arrive, reporting no leads in their investigation. Angad implores the officers to exhaust all resources in their quest to find Akir, to which they consent.

Daljeet extends an apology to Sahiba for not heeding her advice to distance himself from Angad, admitting his lack of understanding until now. Sahiba explains her intention was to spare him from the ensuing chaos, hence her silence. Daljeet queries Sahiba about Angad’s awareness of his paternity to Akir. Sahiba confirms and recounts the events at the relief camp, offering her perspective on Angad. Daljeet laments that had he been privy to this information earlier, their current predicament could have been avoided.

Angad is consumed with worry for Akir. Armindergill advises Angad to relinquish his concerns for Akir, reminding him that Akir’s parents are there to shoulder that burden. Garry approaches Sahiba, questioning her suspicion towards Angad. Sahiba retorts that no one else harbors such animosity towards her. Sahiba shares her thoughts on Angad. Garry pledges his assistance in locating Akir and seeks Sahiba’s trust. Garry subsequently contacts Angad, informing him of his visit to Sahiba. Angad promises to converse with him later. Garry queries Angad about his subdued tone. Angad reiterates his intention to speak later and disconnects the call. Angad unlocks and enters a room, his mind filled with thoughts of Akir.

Sahiba communicates with the police over the phone, requesting them to review the CCTV footage from Angad’s hotel. The police inspector complies.

Biji summons Sahiba. Daljeet intercepts Biji and escorts her aside. Sahiba is plagued with worry for Akir. Sahiba seeks solace in Akir’s room, eventually falling asleep there.

Jasleen inquires with Manveer about the feasibility of accomplishing the task she has delegated to them. Manveer expresses optimism. Jasleen probes Manveer about their course of action should anyone be informed about the task. Garry arrives, questioning Manveer and Jasleen about their conversation. Amu joins Manveer and engages in a discussion. Amu senses something amiss as Manveer and Jasleen abruptly cease their conversation upon her arrival, leading her to suspect they are concealing something.
