Pankit Thakker Reflects on His Stint as ‘Akash Khurrana’ in Barsatein & Shares His Views About the Ending!
In September 2023, Pankit Thakker became a part of the TV show Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. He shares that the experience was rewarding and now that the show has concluded, he will miss his team members.
The cast of the show included actors like Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon, with Pankit portraying the character of Akash Khurrana. Reflecting on his role, he states, “My stint in Barsatein was an extraordinary journey. From the first scene as Akash to the last, it was a rollercoaster of thrill and development. Delving into my character’s complexities and working with a skilled cast and crew made it a memorable journey.”
He further adds, “What I will miss most about Barsatein is the fellowship on set. We evolved into a family, backing each other during the long hours and demanding scenes. The bond we created will be treasured and sorely missed.”
Pankit shares his thoughts on why he believed the show would conclude within a few months, saying, “Although Barsatein had a unique concept, I think it had difficulty resonating with the audience due to various factors such as scheduling, competition, or perhaps not effectively reaching the intended audience. However, I am thankful for the experience.”
Pankit, who has been part of shows like Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii and Dill Mill Gayye, is now keen to venture into films. He says, “I am presently scouting for new projects and opportunities in both television and film. I am eager to challenge myself with varied roles and continue my growth as an actor.”
