Zain Imam & Ashnoor Kaur Locked in for Prateek Sharma’s Upcoming Show !
The creators of popular shows like Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan, Rabb Se Hai Dua, Pyar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti, and Pukar – Dil Se Dil Tak are gearing up to launch a new series. This upcoming family drama, which is yet to be named, will star Anita Hassanandani and Zain Imam. Ashnoor Kaur is being considered for the role of the female lead and her confirmation is anticipated soon.
An insider from the show shared, “Anita and Zain have been finalized, but Ashnoor’s agreement is still in the works. The plot centers around the male protagonist, a political figure, and explores his personal and professional life. The narrative will highlight the conflict between two sisters-in-law, with Anita portraying the elder sister-in-law.”
The series is said to draw inspiration from the Kannada TV show Kendasampige, and the filming for the Hindi adaptation is slated to begin by the end of this month. Prateek Sharma, however, did not respond to our message.
Anita Hassanandani, known for her role as Anjali in Kkavyanjali and her appearances in shows like Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Kasamh Se, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and Naagin, was last seen in Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum. This series will mark Zain’s comeback as a lead actor two years after his role in Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan. He had a guest role in Bekaboo and gained popularity as ACP Neil Khanna in Naamkarann.
If Ashnoor agrees to the deal, this will be her return to the fiction genre four years after her role as Mini Khurana in Patiala Babes. She began her career as a child artist and has been part of shows like Jhansi Ki Rani, Shobha Somnath Ki, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, The Adventures of Hatim, Siyaasat, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Prithvi Vallabh.
