Jhanak 17th April : Jhanak Refuses to Marry Tejas !
The Episode starts with Anirudh seeing Jhanak. Jhanak also sees him. Choton cries. Shrishti says I have worked hard to bring Jhanak here. Bipasha says we got to know the truth, we should be confident. Tanuja says Anirudh’s defeat is good for him. Shrishti says Jhanak’s marriage is happening now, her fate will change. They have a talk. Bipasha says I wish the marriage happens soon.
Tanuja says once Jhanak goes away, I will get peace. Arshi goes to Anirudh. He says I was clicking pics. She says I m feeling bad, they will go today, I mean its strange, you know, Avinash’s dad passed away. He asks what. She says yes, he told mom and asked her not to tell anyone, I m afraid that they will call Jhanak unlucky. He says we don’t need to worry, we did our duty, things aren’t in our control. She goes. Jhanak loses balance and puts the varmala in Anirudh’s neck.
They have an eyelock. Kya kijiye…plays… Arshi gets angry. Anirudh defends Jhanak. He gives the garland to Jhanak. Tejas says no, I want a fresh garland. Shrishti scolds Jhanak. Anirudh says humans make mistakes. Arshi says such a big mistake isn’t allowed. Anirudh says I came here to take pic, its not anyone’s mistake. Shrishti says we don’t have time for discussion, they have to leave at night. Tanuja says yes, we shouldn’t waste time. Shubh asks Lal to throw this garland and get fresh one. Lal gets the new garland. Jhanak makes Tejas wear the garland.
Tejas also puts the garland in her neck. Pandit asks groom and bride to hold hands, and read the mantra. Shrishti says just hurry up with the rituals. Anjana cries and says Jhanak will leave from here. Bablu says we will meet her if its in fate. She says I want her happiness. He says you tell her to give her number to us. She cries. He says she will always stay in our life, she gave much love to Appu, we can never forget her. She says Appu is sad. Tejas and Jhanak sit in the mandap. She sees his face. She is shocked. He takes the sindoor.
She thinks he isn’t Avinash, did I see anyone else. She stops him from applying sindoor. She asks how can I believe that the groom is Avinash. Shrishti worries. Jhanak says I want to see his face. Shrishti says he will show the face after the marriage completes, it’s a rule in his family, he will keep the sehra during the rituals. Jhanak says no, its my marriage too, I won’t marry until I see his face. Bablu says Jhanak is right. Anjana says yes. Appu asks the groom to show the face.
Tanuja says Avinash’s family follows this custom. She asks Jhanak to get married to Avinash, else sit at home forever. Dadi scolds Jhanak. Bipasha and Mimi insist Jhanak to marry and complete the sindoor ritual, else she will be called an abandoned bride. Jhanak says fine, I didn’t swear to get married, I have no problem if the marriage breaks, the marriage won’t happen until he shows his face. Shubh asks Vinayak to see the drama. Shrishti says you can’t see his face, no use of this discussion. Jhanak gets up and says I won’t marry until he shows his face. Everyone is shocked.

Anirudh asks Avinash to show his face to Jhanak in private. Jhanak pulls the sehra. They get shocked seeing Tejas. Shrishti asks Tejas to fill sindoor in Jhanak’s maang. Anirudh shouts stop, then you have to accept the sindoor applied to Jhanak before.
