Katha Ankahee 4th July 2023 Written Episode Update
Viaan tells Katha that he needs to practice for a dance with Teeji in an event, though she has no hopes from him. Viaan wants to surprise her. He cannot guarantee a good performance without practice. Katha questions because he is a good dancer. Viaan is doubtful, he recorded Teeji’s dance they just need to follow the steps. Katha asks what’s the problem. Viaan tells that it a ballroom dance, it requires a partner to practice with. They can practice in his cabin, installed with cameras now. Katha agrees, will practice after office hours.
Katha uses the sink, Vanya follows, Katha takes her ring and was about to leave but turn back to Vanya. Vanya wants to know what Katha wants to interrogate now. Katha wonders if Vanya has something to be interrogated about. A guilty consciousness needs no accuser, Katha isn’t accusing Vanya of anything. Katha learned a lot from life, thus reads people good. Vanya wanted Viaan’s mentorship for which she took recommendation from someone she didn’t life. Katha wants to know what made Vanya change herself to be in Viaan’s good books, asks for her story. Vanya leaves. Katha needs to figure this out.
Viaan and Vanya work in the office. Viaan informs her with the good news about landing the Seol Project. Vanya congratulates, she will complete the work by night. He asks her to go out and party with friends, celebrate. It’s better to go out with family. Vanya finds Viaan to be a family person, asks about his family members. Viaan has a small family, only he and his mother. He likes to spend his spare time with his mother. Vanya does the same, she became best friends with her mother after her father’s death. Viaan asks if Vanya doesn’t have siblings. Viaan has an adopted brother, elder or younger yet to figure out, its Ehsan. Viaan thinks that he and Viaan had similar life, his father left him as well. Vanya tells that their childhood and name is similar, Viaan agrees, he left like hearing her name before. Vanya thinks that there might be some connections, she believes in having lost connections, which are found after time. Viaan tells that sometimes are lost state of mind binds us from understanding different perspective, our situations and experiences built our connections. Vanya agrees, people perceive things from their own lens despite it having different sides like misunderstandings and betrayal. She recalls her mother being in the final stage of dementia. Vanya was about to say something when Katha enters the office asking if she should leave. Viaan stops her, he is free. Viaan will meets Vanya tomorrow, she questions. She asks permission to stay with them. Vanya cannot help here; he has a personal project with Katha with which Vanya cannot help. Vanya leaves. Viaan checks the office, tells me that office will be empty for both of them in a while. He didn’t mean to sound bad; Katha understands.
Vanya comes to her desk in frustration, she leaves her diary behind.
Viaan and Katha come downstairs, he shows her Teeji’s dance moves. Katha gets the video transfer to her phone. She plays music and asks Viaan to show what he has got. Viaan dances solo. Katha instructs him. Viaan follows, he hits the wall while dancing. Katha bursts into laughter. Viaan thinks he should practice upstairs, alone. Katha apologize for laughing. She dances with him, instructs him with the moves. Katha accidentally leaves his hand in a swing; he grabs and clutches her close to himself. They shared an intimate moment, Katha sighs and they both part ways. Viaan leaves to bring water.
Viaan pours himself a glass of water.
Katha notices a diary, finds that it belongs to Vanya.
Vanya searches for her diary back at home, wondering if she forgot it in office.
Katha comes to her office with Vanya’s diary. She goes through her resume, recalls that she has the same address as Seema Datta. Vanya connects the dots, Vanya D stands for Datta. She recalls Vanya not returning for the meeting because of her mother’s medical condition. Viaan brings her water.
PRECAP: Vanya asks Viaan about Katha. He tells that Katha would be late, she isn’t well. Vanya realizes that Katha read her diary. Katha confronts Vanya for it, she will tell Viaan.
