Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy starred Imlie to go off-air soon
Imlie, the show starring Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy, has been making headlines recently. There were rumors circulating that due to its low TRPs, the show will undergo a significant change. It was suggested that the show could either take a generational leap, leading to Sai and Adrija leaving the show and new actors coming in, or the show’s time slot could be moved to the evening.

However, the latest reports indicate that the show will not go through a generational leap or a time slot change. Instead, it seems the channel has decided to end the show. Imlie, featuring Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy, will go off the air next month, marking the end of its three-and-a-half-year run on television. Gul said, ‘it’s had a great run n now it’s time to wrap it :)’

The producers had hoped for a generational leap or a time slot change to extend the show’s run, but it appears that the channel has chosen to conclude Imlie’s journey. Ankit Gupta’s new show is set to replace Imlie as per the earlier reports. Netizens have reacted to the speculation of the show going off-air and expressed their disappointment with the same.
In the first season of Imlie, Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani played the lead roles. After Gashmeer’s departure, Fahmaan Khan joined the cast, boosting the TRPs significantly. The second season featured Karan Vohra and Megha Chakraborty. The current season stars Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy. The makers of Imlie have historically opted for a generational leap when the show’s TRPs declined.
