BhagyaLakshmi 20th September 2023 Written Episode Update
At the beginning of the episode, Shalu tells Rishi that a friend of Dadi’s is looking for a good girl to marry and believes Lakshmi is the best option. Rishi, without hesitation, agrees making Shalu smile. Bani then adds that they should stop referring to him as brother-in-law and even suggests that Lakshmi might be feeling heartbroken now that Rishi’s love for her is apparent. Bani then gets out the wedding photo album of Rishi and Lakshmi which had been kept by Rishi.
Bani informs Rishi that Sonia is speaking out against him missing Lakshmi. Shalu then reveals why he is marrying Maliskha, saying it is because he loves her. Bani adds that even if Rishi had feelings for Lakshmi, it would not have changed anything as she does not love him back. Bani then says that they will get Lakshmi married to the other Rishi who is abroad, and Shalu confirms that she will agree due to her grandmother’s wishes, as she never denies her.
Bani and Shalu are subtly encouraging Rishi to declare his love for Lakshmi, noting that if she agrees to marry him, they will no longer be able to call him brother-in-law. Rishi’s mother informs Karishma that dadi has decided that Rishi will marry Maliska. Sonia then adds that dadi wants to get Lakshmi remarried to a distant relative called Rishi. Neelam intervenes as dadi tries to take Lakshmi to the room.
A priest arrived to begin the preparations for Maliska and Rishi’s engagement and eventual marriage. Maliska’s mother expressed that her daughter’s dream was finally coming to fruition, yet Maliska was concerned about Lakshmi being present. Rishi sat and viewed a wedding album with recollections of Shalu’s words about Lakshmi marrying somebody else. Maliska approached and asked what he was watching, to which he replied he was thinking of their marriage. Maliska was elated and showed him her dress for the ceremony. Rishi and Maliska went to the hall for the occasion, yet Rishi was still considering Lakshmi.
The guests are warmly welcomed to the function. Maliska’s parents suggest to Rishi and her that they should get married without any delays. Maliska affirms that they will be wed and no one will be able to stop them. Both Rishi and Lakshmi sadly glances at each other. Neelam orders the priest to bless them. Dadi inquires Shalu if she has done her job rightly, in which case, Rishi will surely do as they want. While praying to God, Rishi keeps taking into account Shalu’s words. Maliska queries Rishi why he is not looking cheerful. Rishi’s brother goes and tell him to say, “I love you.” Maliska assumes he is talking about her, whereas Rishi comprehends what his brother actually means. The episode concludes with Shalu saying that after Rishi’s engagement, Dadi will also declare about Lakshmi’s relationship.
