Katha Ankahee 3rd October 2023 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Maya expressing to Katha that she will face the world’s opposition, but what about Katha herself? Katha is taken aback. Maya blackmails Katha by questioning how Aarav would react if he found out that Viaan had harmed his mother, after everything she had gone through to save his life. Maya emphasizes that Aarav loves and trusts Viaan deeply, but if he discovers that Katha has suffered because of Viaan, how would he react? Katha questions if Maya is willing to stoop so low to satisfy her ego. Maya stares at Katha.
Aarav arrives at the hospital with Kavita. Meanwhile, Maya brings Katha inside and tells her that she has no other choice left. Katha is shocked and asks Maya what she has done to her to warrant such actions. Maya explains to Katha that it’s not her fault, but rather the mistake lies in being a single mother. Katha is left perplexed. Maya confides in Katha about how her life has changed since her son married a single mother like Katha.
She is determined to prevent her sister, Teji, from experiencing the same pain that she had already endured. She confides in Katha, expressing that neither she nor Teji wants Katha to be with Viaan, and she will do everything she can to separate them.
In another scene, Aarav and Kavita discover an unconscious Viaan in his room. Aarav promises to take care of Viaan once he returns home and encourages him to recover quickly. Kavita becomes emotional upon hearing Aarav’s conversation with Viaan. Meanwhile, Katha pleads with Maya not to take Aarav away from Viaan, as he finally has a father figure in his life after so long. Maya refuses to change her decision, defending it as being in Viaan’s best interest. She warns Katha that someone might eventually reveal her and Viaan’s secret to Aarav. Maya advises Katha to prioritize Aarav’s future over her own love, as learning the truth could lead to his depression. Katha is shocked by this revelation.
Vanya reminisces about Ehsan’s admission to him and attempts to talk to him, but their conversation is interrupted when Mr. Gupta shows up and fabricates an excuse with his deceitful lies. Frustrated, Ehsan warns Mr. Gupta that he will blacklist him and his suppliers unless he tells the truth. Eventually, Mr. Gupta reveals that Maya is the mastermind behind everything. Shocked by this revelation, Ehsan urgently implores Vanya to accompany him to the hospital. Although confused, Vanya decides to go along with Ehsan.
Meanwhile, Maya brings up Katha’s first gift to her and Viaan, a painting of the sun and moon, and asserts that the two celestial bodies can never appear simultaneously due to their unique characteristics. Maya compares this phenomenon to Katha and Viaan’s relationship and demands that Katha leave Viaan. Katha refutes Maya’s claim by reminding her that the sun and moon can indeed be seen together occasionally, just like her and Viaan’s relationship. Katha firmly refuses to give up on Viaan and walks away.
Katha is taken aback when she sees Aarav and Kavita at the hospital. Puzzled, she takes Aarav along to meet Viaan. The doctor shares the disappointing news that Viaan’s health hasn’t improved, prompting Katha to suggest they pray for him, leading Aarav to accompany her. Maya watches with a sly grin.
Later, Katha is taken aback to find Aarav missing from her side. She quickly steps out and finds him with Maya. Alarmed, she rushes towards him. Aarav then narrates Maya’s story about a mother who suffered greatly because of a man, whom her son accepted as his father. Struggling to breathe, Aarav’s condition worries Katha. To comfort him, she assures that the mother in the story will surely fight against all obstacles and embraces him. Maya smirks in response.
In the upcoming episode, Viaan regains consciousness and Katha decides to end their relationship. Both Viaan and Katha are overcome with emotions and break down.
