Katha Ankahee 12th July 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha tells that Viraj wasn’t happy in his marriage, he met Seema at that time and fell in love. Before getting into a relationship Viraj asked for a divorce but Teeji was afraid to let go. Meenu tells that Seema met Teeji to discuss the matter herself.
Seema assured Teeji about her and Viraj not crossing the line. Teeji instructs her not to do so. Seem tried to make her understand that Teeji cannot have a healthy relationship with Viraj if he isn’t happy. She requested Teeji to let Vira live his happiness, she doesn’t have to worry for Viaan, she can keep the business got herself as well. Seema wants nothing but Viraj. Teeji wants everything, no marriage is perfect, Viraj has to live like this. Teeji made her desire to never leave Viraj very clear to Seema than.
Viaan steps back, Katha continues telling that Viraj had no other option but to shift and live with Seema. Viaan recalls his father warning him about a major decision. Katha tells that soon after Vanya was born, shows her birth certificate. Viraj was depressed, he was neither getting a divorce nor Teeji was letting him meet Viaan.
Viaan recalls Teeji and Viraj fighting over him, she accused Viraj of buying someone with money and leaving his family behind. Viraj fulfilled his responsibilities regarding Viaan and will continue to do so. He recalls Teeji begging him to stop while he left. Viraj than prayed for his son to be like him instead of his mother.
Farha and Teeji are in discussion with their lawyer. Farah reminds him about the hefty amount of money paid to not let the divorce petition be disclosed. The lawyer questions, no one found it then, why would anyone find it after 20 years. Teeji wants assurance because Seema and her daughter are back. The lawyer assure, Viaan will not find about anything.
Katha shows him the divorce petition, Teeji hid it under the pile of rug, but Seema was in contact with Viraj’s lawyers, she saved a copy.
Farah consoles Teeji, whatever they did was to protect their family, children, and business. They recall Teeji crying over Viraj’s loss after his death. Farah asked her to handle Seema and her daughter before they start to ask for their share in property. Teeji needs to make sure that they leave their lives forever. Farah assures that Seema wont be able to prove anything against them because they are not at fault.
Viaan drops the paper, Katha tells that after Viraj’s death Teeji hired some journalist to print papers to humiliate Seema, articles where she was addressed as a home wrecker. Teeji discredited Seema in front of the board of directors, fired her and made sure that she never got another job. Teeji also bribed the police to chase Seema out of Mumbai. Meenu knew everything but couldn’t tell anyone, she left afterwards. Katha shows him the gifts Viraj sent but Teeji returned every time. Viraj never stopped. He also wrote a letter to him. Viaan reads the letter where his father told how much he loved him, he didn’t abandon his son, had to leave to make sure that he doesn’t grow under the shadow of a toxic relationship. He didn’t leave Viaan for Seema, time will tell him that Seema isn’t a home wrecker, but a beautiful woman. He will find a new home where he has a sister named Vanya. Viaan bursts into tears, Katha consoles him. Viaan regrets cursing his father for years, he stayed away from him, wasn’t with him when he died. He wonders how Teeji lied to him. Katha thinks that she must be afraid. Viaan questions, that lie changed his life. He acknowledges that his mother didn’t live in comfort but what about Vanya and the days she must have lived in.
Viaan comes home, Teeji asks about him getting late. Viaan was late in finding the truth, Viraj died, and he wasn’t able to hug or say his goodbyes. Viaan looks at his father’s portrait and apologizes, he couldn’t say it before but accepts it now that Viraj wasn’t wrong. Viaan’s unable to comprehend why Teeji did that, he is trying to convince himself about Teeji having her reasons. Her stories made him hate his father; he wants to know why. Teeji thinks that he deserves it, he was cheat. Teeji gave her many years to him, but he simply left for another woman. She forgave him, tried to reconcile, and start their family again. Viaan tells that there is nothing to save in a relationship when wants to leave. Teeji couldn’t let go her right and love for another woman. She was happy in her life, but his father told that doesn’t love her anymore, things don’t end because of him. Viaan asked if she actually loved him and how. Viraj wasn’t happy, how is there love without happiness.
Katha sits with Neerja worried about Viaan; it must be the hardest discussion of his life. Katha wishes to be with him right now. Neerja tells that Viaan knows about her being there. its because of her that he is calm and composed, because of her Viaan is able to heal his childhood wounds.
Teeji tells that no marriage or relationship is perfect. She was ready to give her efforts, for Viraj and Viaan but he wanted otherwise. Teeji dedicated precious years of her life to Viraj, gave him a family and a son but he left her because he had fallen out of love. Viraj wasn’t justified, a husband telling his wife and he doesn’t love her anymore. Teeji would have been alone incase Viraj took Viaan from her as well. Teeji was the only one deceived in that situation.
PRECAP: Katha and Viaan visit Seema. She tells Viaan that Viraj loved him. Vanya is his sister but there is no one for her after him. Vanya tells that Seema is in her last stages, requests him to get Seema her lost respect back before she forgets everything.
