Katha Ankahee 16th June 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha comes to office, greets Viaan and Jeetu. Viaan wants to show her something, gives her coffee with hopes of making her morning better. Katha loves it, Ehsan interrupts asking for his coffee. Jeetu finds the office environment to be positive beyond imagination, wishes for it remain same. Katha informs her that she registered for a conference.
Viaan apologized for not knowing, he and Ehsan are attending the conference as well. Jeetu will have EarthCon sponsor her travel as well. Ehsan is waiting for the trip, three of them will have fun and party session there. Viaan and Katha head towards the office to check designs presented by intern. Ehsan notices them.
Katha remarks the design to be awfully dull, Viaan agrees. They both wish the senior section design to be fun and entertaining, with television and speakers to party. Viaan loves the idea, interns need to realize that the fun has no age limit. They both devise a plan for the elderly. Viaan has an entire thought designed in his head, Katha can see Neerja’s reflection in his ideas.
Ehsan interrupts to tell them that Architecture and its relationship with love is the topic for tomorrow’s conference. Katha is impressed, thinks that they should discuss Taj Mahal. Ehsan leaves the work for Viaan, he can not make Taj Mahal for any woman. Viaan recalls a poem, Ehsan mocks him for it. He requests Katha to prepare some pointers for discussion.
Katha is in her office; she receives a call from Yuvraj proposing her to have dinner with him and Reet. Katha wouldn’t miss it, but she has a business trip to Allahabad tomorrow. Yuvraj will wait for her to return. Reet questions Yuvraj for the dinner, he wanted them to spend with Katha apart from the children. Katha couldn’t make it today. Reet asks Yuvraj to tell Katha that she as a housewife is free every day. Reet is still upset.
Viaan calls Katha, she shouts questioning the time. Viaan apologize, she clarifies that it was for Aarav. She sends her son to finish homework, he was busy doing handsprings on bed after dinner. Viaan wants to tell Katha that he will meet Batman before leaving, will pick Ehsan and Katha afterwards.
Next morning, Robin tells Batman that he will be out of station for two days. Batman thinks that Robin and his mother are friends, she is headed out on same dates as Robin. Batman’s mother is a working woman like Robin. Robin gives Batman his childhood books to enjoy the days in his absence. Batman asks if it makes them childhood friends, he plans to be friends with Robin forever. Batman has a gift for Robin, an animal brooch. They hugged each other. Viaan recalls loving dogs.
Yuvraj tells his parents that Reet is upset for not getting enough attention, Katha is disturbing Reet. Mr. Garewal questions, Reet is a grown woman and by right Katha is the elder daughter in law who didn’t get her position. It’s time for them to give Katha her place, make her feel comfortable here. Yuvraj tries his best to make Aarav and Katha feel comfortable and safe in this house. Yuvraj asks his parents to give Reet enough time and attention. Kavita tells that Reet is as important to them as Katha, they will take care of here.
Aarav checks the packing list with Katha, he compliments her for looking ravishingly beautiful. He marks her neck with a black permanent marker to keep bad spirits away like Neerja does. Katha gives Aarav one in return; she makes him promise to complete his chores behind her. Aarav thinks that Katha will enjoy a lot in this conference.
Viaan is waiting outside, calls Ehsan asking where he is. Ehsan isn’t feeling well after his party last night, he doesn’t feel like attending the conference. Katha asks for Ehsan as well, talks to him, the voice feels like he isn’t well. Ehsan asks them to make the journey without him.
Amrita and Ehsan cheers to it. She asks why he lied to Viaan. Ehsan wants to be humble; he will lie a hundred times for his friend. He generally wants Katha and Viaan to be together, they have become more comfortable after office quarantine. Ehsan needs to push them together, him being on this trip would be like third wheeling, thus he backed out.
PRECAP: The hotel has arranged an interconnecting room for Katha and Viaan because they belong to the same panel. Mr. Garewal asks Katha about her bosses; she tells that only Viaan was able to make it to the trip. Viaan and Katha enjoy their trip. Anirudh sees them.
