Katha Ankahee 19th June 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha asks Viaan to play her list. He loves her song list, cherishes the 90s era for their peaceful songs. Katha is thinking of initiating love as the center of her architectural debate today, the architects must have a sense of love in them for the design they created.
Viaan wonders what Taj Mahal would have been like if not for those architects. Viaan loves road trips, with the song playing. The son is special for him, it changed something for him on his worst days back from the office. Katha loves radio for its surprise.
They reach the hotel, gets keys to their rooms. Viaan places the brooch Batman gifted him. Katha complements it. The brooch fell off when the receptionist was placing all access batches on the same pocket. Viaan’s phone fell down as well but he didn’t care for it, the brooch was more important for him. He decided to place the card on the other side. He noticed the black spot behind Katha’s ears, it wasn’t there before. Katha tells that Aarav put it on her imitating Neerja. He put it with a permanent marker. Viaan thinks that Aarav cares a lot.
Viaan meets his friends in the lobby, they question Viaan for not inviting them to his wedding after seeing Katha. Viaan corrects them, she is his colleague. The men apologize, they though that owing to the topic Viaan would come with his love rather than Ehsan. Viaan is sorry for disappointing them. The men call Viaan the most eligible bachelor, asks Katha to find him a suitor. Viaan ignores, the men leave.
Katha and Viaan were shown their room, their rooms have interconnecting door. The floor is booked for CEOS, after Ehsan cancelled, the room was signed to Katha. The staff left. Katha will meet Viaan for brunch after freshening up, have a workshop and talk to attend on Gothic architecture.
In the room Viaan kept looking at the interconnecting door, recalled the time he called Katha to spend the night with him. Viaan placed a call for the hotel manager.
Kavita comes to Mr. Garewal. He wanted to invite Katha home and make her and Reet talk to each other face to face. Kavita suggests him to talk to Katha first who is in Allahabad in two days for a conference with his bosses. He calls Katha, asks about her stay.
Katha tells that Ehsan feel sick so only she and Viaan made the trip. Mr. Garewal wonders about someone getting sick at the last minute. Ehsan and Viaan are childhood friends. She asks him not to worry, Katha isn’t interested and Viaan is a good guy. She asks him to focus on Reet first.
Katha comes out, Viaan’s room is being cleaned. The hotels staff informs her that Viaan wasn’t comfortable here, so he got shifted to another room. The manager apologized to Viaan on unavailability -of any other suite, entire hotel is booked because of the conference. The room was adjacent to the seminar room and the shifting of furniture was audible. Viaan had no worries, asked the manager to take care of Katha.
Katha calls Viaan questioning him for changing his room, he told that the room was accidentally assigned to him. He will freshen up now, Katha will make some calls meanwhile.
Aarav shows his friends the Volcano project. Neerja serves them snacks. He asks about the next meeting, a friend objects on the selected date since he has to be with his father in the new apartment. He spends weekends with his father. Aarav becomes silent.
Viaan waits for Katha on the lunch table, tells that he has been here before. The croissant and coffee are wonderful here. Katha wants to attend workshop on stained glass by a German teacher. Viaan realized that she has been waiting for this conference. Katha has been eager about it since she heard. They heard few men discussing about Viaan, they aren’t interesting in working with Viaan, heard that he is a bore and rude, his girlfriend told that the man is never happy on his birthdays as well.
Viaan continues telling Katha about the food here. Katha goes to those men, questions them for talking ill about a renowned architect, the men must belong to the third category who want nothing from life. She forbids them from talking bad about a man who won Dubai heritage. The men start arguing with Katha, Viaan interferes, stops Katha from giving her attention to strange men who want nothing else. One of them recognizes Viaan, apologies to him. He tells the men not to shiver, legs of a good architects must be steady like the core of his buildings. They should know how to treat a woman.
Anirudh interrupts, tells that the men belong to his team. Katha couldn’t expect less, thinks Anirudh likes to defame EarthCon. He corrects, Anirudh wishes to defeat EarthCon. Katha taunts him to create designs for it. Anirudh lacks in teaching his teams the spirit Katha has, asks if she gets paid extra for it. Viaan mocks Anirudh for his low sense of humor. They leave.
PRECAP: Ehsan spills mud on Vanya. Katha and Viaan attend the stained-glass class together. Vanya pepper sprays the man for spilling mud on her.
