Meetha Khatta Pyaar Hamara 24th May : Sajeeri Gets Engaged !

The episode unfolds with Saanchi revealing to Saajeeri that Shivam has feelings for her. She recounts how Shivam proposed to her the previous night, expressing her reluctance to cause any hurt. Saajeeri, in turn, confesses her belief that Shivam reciprocates her feelings, but she can’t commit to a non-existent relationship. Amidst this emotional turmoil, Supriya collapses, causing Saanchi to drift into a dream. Saajeeri wakes her up with the news that Shivam has agreed to marry her, much to their mother’s delight. Saanchi learns that Saajeeri also harbors feelings for Shivam, and reassures her that their friendship remains unshaken.

Shivam returns home to a house bustling with preparations, his anger flaring at the thought of Saajeeri. Meanwhile, Saajeeri readies herself, donning two ponytails and seeking her father’s blessings. Supriya blesses Saajeeri, praying for her everlasting happiness.

Shivam, observing the arrangements, reflects on his earlier declaration to his mother about marrying a girl of his choice. He contemplates his reluctance to marry and decides to discuss it with Nalini. However, seeing Nalini’s joy over his acceptance of her choice, he holds back to avoid causing her pain. He is prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice. Mandira attempts to reveal to Shivam about his impending marriage to Saajeeri, but he departs before she can. Mandira is left with the impression that Shivam is in love with Saajeeri.

Saajeeri arrives by auto, only to be drenched by Mandira who starts the garden sprinklers, unwilling to accept Saajeeri as her sister-in-law. Sangeeta suggests Saajeeri return to change, but Nalini intervenes. After receiving blessings, Saajeeri is questioned by Nalani about her wet clothes. Supriya explains their intention to return for a change of clothes, thwarting Mandira’s plan. Nalini assures Supriya that Saajeeri can change. Saajeeri then breaks into a dance to the tune of “Raja ki ayegi barat,” with Mandira commenting that her attire matches the song.

Nalini introduces Saajeeri to Mandira and instructs her to get ready. The priest provides Nalani with the auspicious time for the ring exchange. Adarsh brings Shivam, who is surprised by the name board. He expresses his desire to Nalini to meet the girl he is to marry, believing she is ready for marriage. Mandira seeks to halt the engagement, while Priya assists Saajeeri in preparing for the engagement.
