Mera Balam Thanedaar 22nd May 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode commences with Varnika informing Bulbul that they have Avilash’s phone in their possession, and Bulbul assures her of its safety. A laundryman collects clothes from Sulakshana’s house, unknowingly taking Bulbul’s dress with Avilash’s phone in it. Concurrently, Happy Singh holds Varnika’s hand and shares her personal details. Bulbul dismisses this, stating that everyone is already aware of these details. Happy Singh reveals that they are unaware of her recent sadness, causing her to worry that he might bring up Avilash. Veer suspects that Happy Singh might disclose her infidelity to gain others’ trust. Bulbul demands him to stop. Happy Singh then holds Bulbul’s hand, labeling her as academically weak and dramatic. He accuses her of wearing her sister’s engagement ring at her own engagement and pretending to love her husband. Bulbul vehemently denies this, asserting her love for her husband. Happy Singh is pleased by her declaration and threatens to reveal everything about her, including her age, which frightens Bulbul. She gets hurt and refuses his help. A group of girls surround him, asking him to read their palms. Meanwhile, Veer learns that Riya has regained consciousness.
Riya’s father is elated to hear about his daughter’s recovery. Ratan, disguised, enters her room to find out who Avilash met after Varnika. He intimidates Riya into revealing the person’s name. Just as she is about to mention Bulbul’s name, he hears Veer’s voice and hides. Veer notices Riya struggling to breathe. The doctor arrives to assist her and questions who removed her oxygen mask. Riya points towards the window, leading Veer to suspect a ward boy. Meanwhile, Bulbul admires Veer’s picture and confesses to hiding a secret from him. When Veer arrives, she accuses him of eavesdropping on her conversation. He inquires about her conversation with his photo, to which she responds that it’s a secret she won’t share. She notices his injury and insists on first aid. He reveals that the culprit escaped.
Bulbul advises him to be more cautious next time, suggesting that he might fight with the goons like Karthick. He thinks she’s starting again. Bulbul complains about Happy Singh’s irritating behavior at her college and admits to hitting him. Veer advises her against violence. She invites him to her college so that everyone can learn that her husband is a police officer. He reminds her that he is her professor and deserves respect. She remains stubborn. Bulbul realizes that her dress is missing from her wardrobe and remembers that she kept Avilash’s phone in it without deleting the data. She fears that she and Varnika will be caught. She excuses herself from Veer. Kaveri reprimands Bulbul for neglecting her household chores. Bulbul inquires about her dress, and Sulakshana informs her that she sent it for ironing. Bulbul lies to Sulakshana about forgetting to buy bangles and takes Varnika out to retrieve the phone. The laundryman switches on the phone, alerting Veer, who rushes to the location.
Upon reaching the location, Bulbul realizes that she can’t directly ask for the phone, which she notices in the laundryman’s hand. The laundryman dials the last number on the phone, and the principal answers. The laundryman is about to give the address, but the phone’s battery dies. The principal recalls his encounter with Avilash. Bulbul and Varnika notice Veer at the location.
