Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai : Ruhi Chooses to Stay ; Abhira Passes Her Exam !
The Episode starts with Armaan scolding Ruhi. She asks can’t you see my pain, I had taken those pills by mistake, but I really want to do this. He asks are you mad. She says I know, a strong girl like me cant do this, but life has ended my strength, if you stumble at every step then the desire to walk ends, I feel my life is wrong, its tough for me to live. He says we have to keep trying. She says I tried, you know what life did to me, life has thrown me towards me, you threw me towards Rohit, now Rohit left, I m alone, Manish wants me to come home, Dadisa don’t want me to leave, everyone is just throwing me, I m not a ball, but a person, I can feel and speak out my feelings, but is there anyone to listen. She cries. He gives her a glass of water and says please relax, have water. She says you all have confused me, I am Ruhi Birla or Ruhi Poddar, why can’t I just stay Ruhi, don’t I have my own identity. He says this happened because of me, I want to fix everything, tell me how to do it, I just want to see you fine. He sees Abhira behind.
Abhira gets glucose water for Ruhi. Ruhi drinks it. Dadi switches the lamp on and off. She recalls Manish’s words. Madhav brings Vidya there and says Vidya has always stayed sad in this house, she stayed back for your sake, she had to leave her happiness, let Ruhi free, let her live her life, please. Armaan looks on. Its morning, Dadi says I m sorry, you are right, Ruhi should decide about her life, I want to say something, Poddars bahu come home in doli/palanquin and go on Arthi/funeral. She says if Ruhi goes today, then she will go from my heart, bahu stays in Sasural in every condition as its her duty, if she leaves her duty, then she has to leave her right, I won’t stop Ruhi, if she goes once, then she can’t come back home, even when Rohit comes back. She asks Ruhi her decision.
Ruhi sees Armaan. Manish says you didn’t say it with love, but used fear. She says I have supported the truth. Abhira asks why is Dadi keeping condition. Armaan says don’t know, let Ruhi decide.
Ruhi says I want to stay here. Manish asks what, who is here for you. Ruhi says hope. Vidya smiles. Ruhi says fate got me in this house, I don’t want to fight fate. Suwarna says Aarohi wrote her fate herself. Ruhi says even she didn’t leave the house, I was with poppy. Surekha says yes, it was her big mistake, don’t repeat this mistake. Manish says if your happiness is here, then fine. Abhira signs no to Manish. Ruhi hugs Manish and thanks him. Manish, Suwarna and Surekha leave.
Dadi hugs Ruhi and kisses her forehead. She says I made you my bahu, but from now, you are my daughter. Armaan comes to room. Abhira murmurs in sleep. He keeps her books. He gets her notepad and reads… my mumma will get fine. He then reads Rohit is fine, he will come. Abhira wakes up and asks why did you check my notepad. He says you wrote good thing, I respect your belief, but manifestation is just to please yourself. They argue. He lies to sleep. After a month, Armaan wakes up and sees Abhira jumping and dancing. Chal pade hum… plays…
He calls her out. She falls in his arms. He stops the music and asks what happened, tell me. She says this happened, check. He checks the phone. He smiles and says you have cleared 4th year exams. She says yes, I have taken another step towards mumma and my dream, she would have been proud. He hugs her. He says I will get some sweets, congrats. She plays music and dances. Vidya, Manisha and Ruhi see Armaan. Manisha says we forgot to smile, and you and your wife are partying. Ruhi goes. Vidya says she didn’t eat anything. Manisha asks how will she eat. Vidya asks her to stop it. Vidya says Armaan, I think Ruhi needs a friend. Abhira says Armaan is so slow. She sees him outside Ruhi’s room. She says he got healthy sweets, he is so boring.
Abhira signs him to go. He says sorry, I went downstairs, mum gave me fruits for Ruhi. Abhira says its okay. She eats a fruit piece and says I had sweets, go now. Armaan goes to Ruhi. He asks her to have fruits and then take medicines. She refuses. He insists her and makes her eat. He says we all have to live. Vidya and Dadi come. Vidya says thank God, Ruhi has eaten something on Armaan’s saying. Dadi says yes, I promised Manish, I will make Ruhi my daughter, we have to try to keep her happy. Abhira says Ruhi has to try, she got a bad habit to take family’s support for everything. Dadi scolds her. Abhira says sorry Dadisa, a child has to walk on his own, if child remains a child, then when will he grow up.
Precap: Sanjay scolds Krish. Abhira says don’t force him to become a lawyer. Armaan argues with Sanjay. Dadi shouts enough.
