Katha Ankahee 25th August 2023 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kavita giving instructions to a worker while Kailash approaches her and expresses his concern about Katha getting married. Kavita playfully teases him for being emotional but assures him that Katha’s relationship with them will remain strong. Ehsan arrives and reassures both Kailash and Kavita that Viaan will not take Katha away from them and will become devoted to her. Kavita smiles, and Yuvraj joins Ehsan.
They discuss planning a boys’ trip with Kailash, but Kavita reminds them to focus on the engagement and not upset her. They all agree and leave. Kavita becomes emotional.Katha notices Viaan drinking juice and shows her disappointment. She then notices him trying to have more snacks, so she signals to him and moves away. Viaan approaches Katha, and she scolds him for not taking care of himself. She asks if he informed Teji about his health, but Viaan assures her that he doesn’t want to worry Teji and promises that he will take care of his health.
Kavita announces the start of Katha and Viaan’s engagement ceremony. Katha addresses Viaan as “Viaan,” making him happy. He expresses his joy to Katha and reveals how much he dislikes it when she calls him “Mr. Raghuvanshi.” Katha playfully calls him “Mr. Raghuvanshi” and then leaves.
The engagement ceremony begins, and Teji places a veil on Katha’s head and feeds her and Aarav a sweet. Aarav hugs Teji, surprising her and making her uncomfortable, but she hides her feelings. Kavita gives Viaan a token of good luck and feeds him a sweet.
A group of workers arrive with gifts. Someone calls out Viaan’s name and accuses him of betraying her. Everyone looks confused as the person continues to talk about her relationship with Viaan. Viaan is shocked and surprised. Teji and Farah appear overjoyed. The lady steps forward, and Viaan rushes to her, delighted to meet his aunt Maya. Maya expresses her happiness as well.
Maya praises Katha and the love between Katha and Viaan. Teji and Farah hide their smirks, while Katha and Viaan appear happy. Katha notices the presents the workers are carrying. Maya explains that the gifts are for the workers who have been working there and expresses her admiration for Katha. She asks Viaan to introduce her to Kailash and Kavita. Viaan obliges and takes her to meet them.
Viaan introduces Maya to Kailash and Kavita, praising her for her influence on his upbringing and the person he has become. Maya commends the Garewals for accepting Katha and Viaan’s relationship despite Katha being their late son Aditya’s wife. Katha, Kailash, and Kavita become emotional. Kailash becomes uncomfortable but hides it for Katha’s sake. Maya also apologizes for Teji’s behavior.
Katha praises Maya in front of Viaan. Maya then meets Farah, Ehsan, and Teji. One of the workers insults Vanya, Viaan’s illegitimate child, which angers Viaan. However, Vanya stops him from losing his cool. Teji and Farah hide their happiness. Maya tries to provoke Vanya but realizes that she won’t fall for it. She manages the situation by apologizing to everyone and warning the worker.
Kailash questions Kavita about Maya not inquiring about Aarav. Just then, Aarav, who is playing with his cousin, falls near Maya. He introduces himself as Viaan’s son, shocking Maya. Katha informs Maya that Aarav is her son, and Maya hugs him. Later, Maya advises Viaan to always listen to his heart. She then asks Katha for a private conversation, leaving Katha intrigued.
Preview: Maya asks Katha if she is happy, and Katha assures her that she is indeed happy. Later, Katha and Viaan have an argument about Aarav’s upbringing in front of Teji and Maya. Katha storms off, leaving Viaan contemplating.
