Katha Ankahee 9th May 2023 Written Episode Update

Neerja asks Aarav to stop he has been studying for a while now. Aarav wants to top in exam for sake of his and his mother’s respect, it his time to prove himself in front of the principal. Katha comes home, lays on the couch lost in Ehsan’s word telling that Viaan is eager to be a father and Viaan saying that he needs experience for fatherhood.

Neerja asks Katha to stop Aarav, she points at him asking to turn on fun mood. Aarav needs five more minute. Neerja notices Katha, interrogates. Katha suggests ordering Indian Chinese food form outside. She serves Aarav his noodles though he wants more than tells Neerja that she is tired of ignoring Viaan because he keeps coming to her with new issues.

Aarav asks for Shezvan sauce, Katha serves him. Neerja agrees that it’s hard to face someone who has a lot of hope tide to you, she gives her some advice on Viaan. Neerja asks Katha to completely ignore Viaan, Arav asks for more sauce. Katha serves him, than comes back to Neerja saying that she cannot ignore someone in problem.

Aarav interrupts saying that he wants more sauce, Katha gives him the whole bowl. She shuts his television to focus on eating. Neerja thinks that Viaan is in love with Katha, he would consider her being around for him. A person in love thinks that the other person breathes for him only, she suggests Katha to disappear. Katha cannot do that, but she will try not to get affected.

Kavita shows Mr. Garewal Yohan’s clothes. Mr. Garewal asks Kavita about Katha’s hectic life, make breakfast for Aarav, send him to school, get ready for office, take auto and local rides for office, work there all day and then take same rides back to home, she brings Aarav here to meet them as well. Katha must get tired.

Kavita says that people develop habits when they don’t have options, and then she likes solving problem. Mr. Garewal cannot accept his daughter not having an option, he wants to give her the spare car he has at home. Kavita asks if she would take it, the woman who stop them from giving Aarav gifts, returns half of her gift money. She knows that Mr. Garewal wants to bring comfort to Katha’s life, but they would need to be patient about it. Life will bring them an opportunity for it.

Next day, Katha wants to approach Viaan but stands back. Vanya asks for Katha’s suggestion regarding signs.

In meeting, Viaan informs Katha and Jeetu that he has signed some interns on Lonavala project, their young minds can be used for good. He asks everyone to be ready because they will be asked many questions. Ehsan recalls the day he was intern, he used to ask questions but only to girls. Viaan saved all serious questions for himself. Ehsan feels old.

Jeetu informs that Nikil has requested for leave to take his mother to his convocation, he needs a day off for commute. Ehsan jokes about being his father. Jeetu requests not to joke on this sensitive matter, Nikil informed that he is son from his father’s second marriage. His father cancelled on him last moment because he chose the other family. Nikil expressed his frustration about his father preferring his original family over him.

The interns come in; they raise hands for questions. Viaan ignore Nikil in first two. He finally agrees to hear Nikhil’s questions but calls it invalid. Katha and Ehsan notices Viaan’s behavior.

In the cabin, Viaan briefs Katha on the project. She was about to leave but then questions him for acting indifferently with Nikhil today. She apologizes for stepping into his personal space but wants to know if he was affected knowing that Nikhil is a child of his father’s second marriage.

Viaan answered Nikhil’s question despite understanding the pain of his father’s first family. He asks Katha to realize the pain they must have felt. Katha agrees but ask Viaan to think differently, Nikhil’s family might have a mutual consent. Katha thinks that Nikhil has nothing to do with his father’s decision and Viaan is no one to judge.

Viaan shares a professional relationship with Viaan, he idolizes him as his mentor. His own mentor is letting Nikhil down, she reminds that Nikil is the same person for whom Viaan created a hole in his sock. Viaan is ignoring Nikhil for personal reasons. Viaan has a choice to be either be stuck in his past or move in, what kind of boss does he want to be. Katha leaves.

Viaan comes to Ehsan’s office, Ehsan questions. Viaan tells that he has been hating that woman for a long time which reflected on him today. As soon as he got to know about Nikil a second thought didn’t cross his mind, the fact that Nikhil has nothing to do with Viaan, the idea that he was a child from his father’s second marriage was enough to make Viaan glitch.

Ehsan asks Viaan to stop being harsh on himself, things collapse when past hits. Viaan asks who he can move on if he is still stuck in the past. He thought that Katha brought him to light, but in reality, the darkness resides within him. Viaan wants to remove it and for that he will meet Seema Dita, he will take out his frustration. He will tell that he isnt mad at her.

Ehsan loves the new Viaan, chooses to support him in very case yet requests him not to return back to his negative side in case she says something bad about him or uncle. Viaan had no choice before but now he is free, he wants to move on. He asks if Ehsan will support him. Ehsan will always support Viaan, they hug and leave.

Viaan works in his office late night, he is unable to find Seema Dita’s records though she worked in the office. He realizes that he must know.

PRECAP: Viaan asks Jeetu to give him a contact but not ask why. Jeetu doesn’t want to know. Viaan wants him to share Seema Dita’s contact. Seema Dita receives a call. Reet visits Katha informs about her visits to Viaan’s house. She tells Katha that he likes her, asks if she likes him as well. Katha hears Viaan talking to Aarav over phone call. Neerja tells Katha that destiny is already written, and if it’s destined than Viaan and Katha will meet.
