The episode begins with Srishti confronting Nidhi about her involvement in the accidents that happened to Preeta. Srishti warns Nidhi to stay away from Preeta and her family, stating that they have no interest in the Luthras. Meanwhile, Karan spots Srishti and calls out to her, but she quickly runs away, and Karan follows her. Nidhi and Aarohi are left confused by this encounter.In another scene,

Nilesh sneaks into Preeta’s room and takes out a bottle of poison, declaring that Preeta will die in five minutes. Rajveer arrives at the hospital and inquires about Preeta’s whereabouts at the reception. He learns that she is in room number 5 and enters the room. Rajveer reflects on how he should have listened to Srishti’s advice and left the city with his family. Inside the room, Nilesh hides while Rajveer pleads with Preeta to wake up and talk to him. A doctor interrupts their moment, asking Rajveer to leave so that Preeta can rest.

Rajveer apologizes and exits the room, while the doctor examines Preeta. Karan is relieved to see Srishti and asks her what happened and why she ran away. He tries to hug her, but Srishti stops him and questions his identity. Karan is shocked by her response but assumes that she is unable to recognize him due to his appearance. He reveals that he is Karan Luthra and that he has been searching for her and Preeta everywhere.

However, Srishti refuses to speak to him, claiming that she doesn’t trust him, and runs away. Meanwhile, a doctor reviews Dadi’s medical reports and informs her that she needs to be supervised for the next five hours. He advises the Luthras to take care of Dadi and promptly leaves. As the doctor exits Preeta’s room, Nilesh accidentally drops an injection and reveals his intention to kill Preeta.

He attempts to strangle her but covers her mouth when he hears a knock on the door. Karan enters the room and questions Nilesh’s presence. Nilesh lies, claiming that his sister is admitted to the hospital. Karan offers his assistance and urges Nilesh to inform him if he needs any help. Karan then instructs him to find Preeta as soon as possible before leaving. Nidhi and Aarohi witness Nilesh’s actions and mistakenly believe that he has killed Preeta.
