Katha Ankahee 22nd September 2023 Written Episode Update

The function begins with Mr. Garewal handing Viaan the family sword as well as Katha to take care off. Mr. Garewal goes down on his knees to present it, Viaan stops him. He thinks that Mr. Garewal should hand it to Katha because he is mostly the one saving him form things. Yuvraj requests Viaan to take care of his sister, she may seem strong yet emotional at same time. Mr. Garewal presents Viaan with a gift being his father-in-law, it was a gun having fake buttles in it which make same sounds as real ones. Mr. Garewal fired three bullets. It was Yuvraj’s turn, and according to tradition Viaan has to sit on his shoulder as he carries him. Mr. Garewal says that he will go to the temple now and pray there till the rounds start. Mr. Garewal leaves saying his goodbyes, Yuvraj leaves as well. Aarav worried about Viaan falling down.

Teeji questions Meera for waiting, it’s the right time to show Mr. Garewal that video and put an end to this marriage. Meera has strategy, they want to blame Katha but not drag Viaan in it. Meera assures that according to her plan a bomb will explode and for that they need to safeguard themself first.

Yuvraj asks Kaha to come for the surprise. Katha questions where Mr. Garewal is, Yuvraj tells that he is visiting the temple to pray for Katha and Viaan’s happy life. Yuvraj reminds everyone about Mr. Garewal’s promise which he has fulfilled by transferring his and Aditya’ share in property to Aarav. Reet was in total anguish, his brother standing beside agrees with The Garewal’s obsession with Katha. Katha refuse to take this, already told that Aarav doesn’t need it. Kavita will not listen to Katha regarding this matter, it was Mr. Garewal’s wish. Katha wonders why he named his share to Aarav as well. Kavita assures that Mr. Garewal has everything planned. Yuvraj considers this the final decision, the family’s support should stay with Katha. Katha considers this family her support, she needs nothing more.

Viaan shows Aarav his new bedroom. Viaan wants to know Aarav’s remarks, he starts crying instead and doesn’t know why. Vanya came to bring them downstairs; she questions Viaan for making Aarav cry. Viaan questions, Aarav is emotional after seeing his room. Vanya asks if he would share the room with her, they will have a lot of fun together. Aarav warns her about his habit of getting up early because Katha thinks that people who wake up early get their dreams fulfilled.

Teeji begins the rituals by applying Ubtan on Viaan, she cries as her son was getting married, will be getting away from her. Viaan refused, he may be becoming a part of Viaan and Katha’s life, but he would never part ways with his mother. Maya follows Teeji, Farha proceeds after Maya’s permission. Viaan asks Farha about Ehsan’s absence. Ehsan enters the room and submerges Viaan’s face with Ubtan, Viaan follows him. The brother and sister exchange compliments. Vanaya gets up and accidently applies ubtan on Ehsan’s shirt. Farah and Teeii give them an intense stare.

Vanya and Aarav were leaving, Meera sends Vanaya to take the thali while she stops Aarav to ask if he keeps secrets from his parents. Aarav did once but it caused trouble, Katha thinks that no secrets mean a simple life. Meera says that he might not keep secret, but his parents do keep secret from him.

Katha comes for her ubtan celebration. Aarav comes asking Katha not to keep any secret form her, he recalls Maya telling him that his parents have kept secrets from him. Katha assures that Aarav will be informed about everything except the surprises. Kavit gets Meera seated for the celebration to begin. Reet’s brother was infuriated about Aarav getting all the property, Reet calms him down, she is trying her best. Everyone at the Garewal Mansion dances together. Reet serves Meera with beverage, warns her not to ask for her help after marriage. Meera makes counted steps, sends Reet away. Meera wonders if she should break Kavita’s heart.

Viaan smiles after seeing Katha’s picture, Teeji notices him and leaves.

Meera comes to Kavita telling that it must be peaceful for a mother to know that her daughter and son in law share a strong foundation, a happy beginning leads to a strong future. Katha returns for more rituals after changing outfits, Kavita excuses herself. Reet’s brother mixes alcohol in his drink, taunts the bride for not having an uncle to perform the rituals. Yuvraj steps up to perform the tradition, like Reet’s brother did. Reet’s brother asks for a difference between a blood related and a so-called sister.

PRECAP: The baraat function begins for Katha and Viaan. Meera wants Reet to do something, everything depends on her. Katha and Viaan perform their pheera’s while Reet informs Yuvraj about Viaan’s 1 crore offer to spend a night with Katha. Reet thinks that Viaan must be blackmailing Katha.
