Yeh Hai Chahatein 2nd May : Jagadish Grows Suspicious of Shanti !
Our tale unfolds with Karun, who, after indulging in a bowl of kheer, collapses to the ground. Jagadish, happening upon the scene, rushes to Karun’s aid and swiftly transports him to the hospital. Shanti, witnessing this, is taken aback, her heart secretly yearning for Karun’s demise.
Meanwhile, Vishal encounters Mahima, chastising her for her incessant calls. In response, Mahima delivers a stinging slap, her anger boiling over. She confronts him about his deceit towards his mother. Vishal, remorseful, confesses his inability to introduce Mahima to his mother due to her current marital status with Arjun. He fears his mother would misconstrue their relationship as an illicit affair. Mahima, now aware that Vishal’s mother has seen her, questions his next move. Vishal assures her that he will formally introduce her to his mother once her divorce is finalized, vowing never to abandon her. They share a comforting embrace.
Arjun, in search of Mahima, arrives at Dadi’s residence only to discover that she has vacated the city. His mind races, wondering about Mahima’s whereabouts. Back at the hospital, Jagadish inquires about Karun’s health. The doctor reassures him that Karun is stable, thanks to his timely arrival. The doctor also mentions ‘padam’, a conversation overheard by the bodyguards. Veer, informed of the situation, relays the information to Kaashvi, who in turn informs Arjun. They then set off for the Bajwa house.
Upon their arrival, Arjun checks on Karun, who assures him of his well-being, much to Shanti’s chagrin. Kaashvi, relieved, embraces Karun. Romila, returning to the scene, is puzzled by the events. Shanti, feigning ignorance, claims she was bathing and is unaware of the incident. Jagadish recounts the events, prompting Kaashvi to question Karun about his meal. Karun reveals that he had only consumed the kheer prepared by Romila, who in turn states that Shanti was the one who made it.
Kaashvi confronts Shanti, questioning her about the inclusion of ‘padam’ in the kheer. Shanti admits to adding it, believing it to be beneficial for children. Kaashvi reminds Shanti of Karun’s allergy, which Shanti claims to have forgotten. She apologizes to both Kaashvi and Karun, who urges her to let it go as he is now fine. Jagadish, however, senses something amiss.
Later, Jagadish queries Arjun about the security guards. Arjun shares his suspicions about Mahima, believing she wants to prove his incompetence in caring for Karun to gain custody. Jagadish questions Mahima’s motives, but Arjun is adamant. He retreats indoors, leaving Jagadish pondering. He doubts Mahima’s involvement in the kheer incident, suspecting Shanti instead.
In the next episode, Aditya presents Kaashvi with counterfeit divorce papers, urging her to sign. Mahima declares to Arjun that their relationship is over, confessing her love for Vishal, paralleling Arjun and Kaashvi’s love for each other. Jagadish interrogates Shanti. Stay tuned for more drama!
