Katha Ankahee 31st March 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha says that she just received the recorded video call, hasn’t seen it herself. There is no better way to be unbiased than to see it together. Katha plays the video to find Viaan narrating the poem he wrote for Katha. Everyone is in shock, Katha looks at Viaan in wonder. Teji knows, Ehsan looks at Viaan in wonder and shock as he says that now he is in love. Keith loves Viaan’s narration, wants to compose it.
Farah asks Teji why Viaan is tensed, does he actually love that girl. In the video Shamita knocks on Viaan’s cabin. Katha says that at this moment Viaan put the call on hold, but it was being recorded from the other end. The video continues to Viaan telling Shamita to consider this office a safe place. As the video everything goes against Shamita’s stance, she asks for a letter of recommendation and a text she can forward to other companies.
Viaan sends her both, Shamita starts coughing, Viaan gets up to get her a glass of water. The video clearly shows that a woman gets up and takes Viaan’s phone. The board members stops the recording asking Shamita if the woman in this video is her. Shamita remains silent. The video plays, within second Shamita questions Viaan for sending her an inappropriate text, later blames him for s*xual harassment.
Teji and Farah care relieved, Viaan rests his head against the wall. He screams but silently. Katha tells tha the video shows the real truth. Ehsan hugs Viaan, he tightly hugs him back. Ehsan comes back to Shamita offering her water. Katha asks if it was her in the video or if she has difficulty in recognizing herself. Shamita is asked why she did so.
Shamita recalls her meeting with Anirudh, he questions as the market is filled with Shamita’s news of being fired from EarthCon. Anirudh being an upfront and honest man heard that she was flirting with Viaan which he didn’t like. Viaan displeased by her actions completely blocked her from all accesses. He asks her to share the complete story.
Shamita told Anirudh that Viaan is a woman hater, Anirudh doesn’t consider Shamita flirting a criminal offence. He calls out Viaan for not caring about other, no one in market is willing to offer Shamita a job now. Shamita asks Anirudh to give her a job, she is a talented architect. Anirudh asks if she only her job back, not the lost respect or teach that man a lesson who ruined her reputation. Shamita asks what to do. Anirudh asks her to do as he says, in return she will get her reputation back as well as other jobs.
He asks her to talk to Viaan, Shamita question as Viaan would get agitated. Anirudh is a businessman before being an architect, he saw a change in Viaan in latest pitch. Shamita only needs to shed few tears and he will give back her job. Shamita questions him for sending her back to Viaan to beg for her job than work there.
Anirudh wonders why it’s hard to explain everything to people, he tells her to work there for a while, Viaan might not entertain her, but she can accuse him for s*xual harassment. Viaan will become a s*xual predator while Shamita can work there for as long as she pleases on double salary.
Katha asks if Shamita doesn’t want to tell the truth. Katha shares her hypothesis, she accused Viaan for the same charges she was fired for, Jeetu informed them. Shamita thought the best way to destroy Viaan was to ruin his reputation. It was a bold move. The committee members question Shamita for using this platform for wrong purposes, it’s because of people like her that real victims of s*xual abuse are judged wrongly.
Katha asks Shamita about Viaan whom to her was kind and helpful, she didn’t consider her doing affecting Viaan, he would have judged for something he never did. Shamita remains silent. The internal committee has presented their facts in front of the board, they all are in favor of Viaan. The board will conclude this case. The board member thanked his team, the internal committee, and especially Katha who led the investigation.
Viaan has been absolved of all charges, he has been proved innocent. Ehsan announced a counter disciplinary action Shamita. Farah agrees, she wanted to file a defamation case against Shamita. Ehsan tells Shamita that they will meet in court. Viaan denies, Ehsan questions, Shamita didn’t think twice before running Viaan’s reputation, she put everyone in distress for herself, letting her go would set a wrong example. Ehsan refuse to let Viaan say anything. Katha tells that according to companies rules and policies they can punish for false cases especially when they have evidence.
The board tells that if Viaan files a case they will officially start an investigation on Shamita. Teji agrees, she wants to punish Shamita before she does this again leaving aside the fact that she emotionally tortured Viaan. The committee members asked Shamita to find herself a lawyer. Viaan asked everyone to calm down, she intends not to continue this case. Ehsan and everyone question. Viaan asks Ehsan to trust him, this entire case happened for revenge which only teaches us hate.
Actions taken in anger are always regretful, punishing Shamita for this mistake will trap her in revenge cycle. Viaan know that she hurt him, he has hurt her as well but can they end things here forever. He has no hard feeling for her, requests her to free herself from all hatred against him. Viaan will give her the letter of recommendation in return but via email.
Shamita stands up, Viaan considers her a fantastic architect who doesn’t need any shortcut, her believing herself would be enough to reach every height of success. The conversation ends here to Viaan, HR will handle the rest. He request everyone not to make this a topic of gossip which have ruined many careers, he doesn’t want that to happen in EarthCon. Shamita leaves.
PRECAP: Viaan and Katha are in a restaurant, he has been meaning to tell her something. A person clicks their photo. Yuvraj tells Reet about lying before about having an affair. Katha reaches Garewal Mansion to find Reet struggling as her water broke. Viaan follows Katha to the hospital, he heard her telling driver to reach central hospital. Katha congratulates Yuvraj for becoming the father of a son. Mr. Garewal and Kavita visit the hospital. Viaan congratulates Mr. Garewal. Katha tells them about being on dinner with Viaan. Mr. Garewal asks Viaan to leave as his help here is no longer required.
