Katha Ankahee 8th June 2023 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Katha entering the office and Jitu Bhai asks about her project. Katha is confident that she would get the project and Jitu Bhai praises her confidence. Katha and Viaan share an eyelock and they both share their common interest in k dramas as they discuss their client. Kailash and Kavita where pampering their grand child and Kailash asks Kavita to invite Katha,Neerja and Aarav home as it’s been so long.
He’s excited about having Kavita’s Chole Bhature and she reminds him of his cholesterol. She texts Katha inviting her home. Katha voice texts her saying that she is excited to have her food and asks Kailash to pick Aarav. She says she would join after the meeting. Viaan says he also likes Chole Bhature a lot but Katha says that he prefers diet. Viaan says that he do prefer chole bhature once in a while.
Katha and Viaan meet with their Korean clients and Katha explains the project to them while the translator translates it for them. Viaan praises Katha for the project and Katha gets happy. She gets surprised when Viaan speaks in Korean and they accept their Gifts. When they are alone Katha asks Viaan if she did something wrong as they seem offended.
Viaan advises her to get gifts with both the hands as recieving it one hand can be considered rude according to their tradition. Katha reprimands herself as she’s aware of it too. Katha asks Viaan about how he knew to speak Korean and Viaan says that a professor in his college with whom he did an internship is Korean and so he knows a little bit of Korean. Katha praises him.
As they resume the meeting Katha and Viaan shares about how similiar their culture is in many ways and they bond over. A senior guy in the Korean team coughs in between and Katha notices it. Later at night, Katha and Viaan gets ready to leave when Viaan coughs too. Suddenly their company gets quarantined and Katha and Viaan gets confused.
People from municipality office offers them mask and explains them that the Koreans whom they had a meeting with has caught a virus and it’s not COVID. They asks them to relax as nothing is serious as of now and asks them to stay quarantined as they came in direct contact with them. Katha and Viaan gets worried. Aarav is playing with the baby while they wait for Katha.
The municipality officials say that they can’t exactly predict the situation and says that the test results will arrive only after 24 hours. Ehsaan tries to get in but the officials don’t let him in. They get call from their respective gomes but they cut it. Viaan says he has symptoms of cough and throat irritation and the officials decide to take his blood sample. They both decide to not let their families know the situation without clearing anything.
Precap: Aarav says that his mother never cut his call before. Viaan panics that something would happen to him and asks Katha to stay away. Katha tries calming him down. Reet fills Kavita’s ears against Katha and Viaan.
