Maati Se Bandhi Dor 27th May : Vaiju Wins the Challenge !
The Episode starts with Vaiju praying for a good harvest this year. She does the aid to the cow. Aai comes and asks what happened to the cow, how will we plough the field. Vaiju says we will sow the seeds. She takes the plough on her shoulders and I will do the cow’s work today. Her sister comes and asks them to come and have food. Aai jokes and asks Vaiju to have grass and feed the roti to the cow/Raja. Vaiju feeds the food to Raja. Aai and they all sit to have food.
A man comes running to give a news. Vaiju recalls the last alliances, where the people rejected her. The man says I got a prince for Vaiju. She talks about work. She says we have debt on us, we can’t pay the instalments, we have to worry for the land. Her sister says guy’s family is coming to see you. Vaiju says so what, they will reject me again, I will not become a fairy if you call me that, I m a farmer. Her sister says everyone needs a life partner.
Ranvijay is seen playing a football match. Aai asks Vaiju to meet the guy’s family. Vaiju jokes. She scolds Saleem for getting an alliance for her. He gets a sacred thread to her and wishes her. She thanks him and says you are my best friend, this sacred thread won’t help me. He says this sacred thread will make you meet your prince. A girl passes by the field. She falls and drops the painting. Ranvijay goes to help her and steps on the painting. She asks him to step back. He says your painting isn’t that great. She says my sister works in the field, you don’t know about it, her face glows by the hardwork she does, she fills the stomachs of the family.
She defends her sister and goes. He stops her and says don’t be so judgmental, my roots are also of village, and my mum and ancestors do farming, even my mum works hard in the farms, she is also a farmer. His mum is shown. She comes home riding a tractor. She asks about Jaikant. Jaikant is seen at some field, arm wrestling with someone. She asks Nagraj to get the car, she will go and see Jaikant himself. Jaikant’s mum stops her and says everyone is waiting for you, come. The lady says Jaikant should be here before Darbar ends. The people gather there to tell their problems. Jaikant talks to the men and laughs. He sees Vaiju and goes to flirt with her. Vaiju scolds him.
She challenges him for arm wrestling competition. He says fine, lets bet, if I lose then I will hold ears and apologize to you, if I win, then you will feed me the wine by your hands. She agrees. They have a match. She chants something and defeats him. She asks him to apologize. He leaves. She shouts at him.
A rich man/Sarpanch comes home comes to the farmers’ Darbar. Ranvijay’s mum gives her advice to the people. He says she is sitting on my dad’s chair. The people thank her for doing justice. They greet Bhau Sahab. Bhau says you should have come to panchayat. The man says it was a small matter. Bhau asks them to leave.
Vaiju cuts the wood logs. She asks how will you manage all this work when I get married and go away, how will we pay Jaya’s fees. Aai says I will do what is good for my children’s future, forget this, think about yourself. Vaiju’s sister Kaveri gets ready. She talks to her friends. Vaiju also gets ready in a clumsy way. Kaveri compliments her. She says you should get ready well. She asks the girls to deck up Vaiju. Aai prays for Vaiju at the temple. Vaiju dreams of her marriage. The guy’s family is on the way. A lady calls them and warns about Vaiju. The guy’s family goes back. The lady is seen to be Vaiju’s Aai.

Saleem says they aren’t coming. Vaiju cries. Kaveri says who will marry Vaiju. Ranvijay goes to Jaya and says I like you. She asks him to speak to her sister. Ranvijay’s mum Vasundara prays to get an Annapurna as her bahu. Pandit says Vaiju will become her Annapurna. Vaiju comes to Vasundara’s house.
