Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th March : Dadi Slaps Abhira !

The Episode starts with Armaan saying you wanted to play Holi, right. Abhira says yes, this idea is good, mumma didn’t like Holi, she was like a princess type. They argue. She runs to beat him. They laugh. She asks him to buy some good clothes. He says you spoiled my sweatshirt. He runs after her. Kiara sees Ruhi doing Tulsi puja. Ruhi asks where are you going, Kiara, are you going on friend’s party, Dadi stopped us. Kiara says please I want to go. Ruhi says no. Kiara says I will go, no one will know, Armaan isn’t at home, else he would have dropped me.

Ruhi says its not safe. Kiara says please let me go. Ruhi says fine, I will come with you, we will come back in one hour. They see Abhira. Abhira and Ruhi argue. Ruhi says nothing will happen, just keep your mouth shut for one hour. Abhira goes to the kitchen and blabbers. She says mumma, this year you aren’t here, I will make Gujiyas and keep our tradition. She kneads the flour. She fries the gujiyas. Vidya tastes it and says you made it good, can you make chocolate gujiyas.

Abhira says yes, mumma and I used to make chocolate gujiyas on Holi, it used to be fun, this time its not fun, will you help me. Vidya says assistant chef reporting madam. They cook. Yeh Rishta….plays… Dadi asks Manisha to make gujiyas. Abhira says we were making chocolate gujiyas. Dadi says Manisha, make the same gujiyas as always, I don’t want anything new. She goes. Manisha asks what happened. She eats the gujiyas and likes it. She prays to get all the gujiyas. Abhira laughs.

Dadi says this time, holi won’t have colours, but rituals will be completed. Aryan says shagun time, my pocket money is ending. Dadi says you will get your pocket money, but elders will get shagun first. She gives envelopes to Vidya, Madhav and everyone. She asks where is Kiara. Manisha says she went to temple. Dadi asks about Ruhi. Abhira says I think she went with Kiara. Dadi says I will keep their envelopes with Rohit’s… Manisha says you didn’t give shagun to Abhira. Dadi says its for family, not outsiders. Abhira thinks I m alone in this world. The car breaks down. Kiara asks what shall we do, mechanic isn’t around, Abhira would have helped us, shall I call her, she knows we are going in party. Ruhi says no, we will go home now, I will call Armaan. She calls. She says he isn’t answering. They see some men coming. Kiara says please call Abhira.

The men tease them. Dadi asks why didn’t they come till, Manisha you have no control on your kids. Abhira thinks I feel they are in some trouble, how to find out, social media, I will check Kiara’s social media. She checks and says Sakshi’s holi party. The man stops Ruhi and Kiara. Ruhi says take money, jewellery and car, but let us go. The man says we aren’t thieves, but friends, we want to play holi. Ruhi says I will call the police. The man takes her phone and says just play holi with us. Ruhi says I fold hands, let us go. The man says happy holi and tries to apply colours to her. Abhira comes and hits the men. She scolds them and beats them.

She asks Ruhi and Kiara to beat them. Ruhi and Kiara also pick the sticks and beat the men. The men leave. Abhira asks are you both okay. Kiara hugs her and says thanks. Abhira says I m there. Kiara asks how did you know we are here. Abhira says I checked social media and found out, then I came here. Ruhi says you got hurt, we should go to hospital. Abhira says it’s a small thing, I will apply icepack, we should go home, Dadi is waiting, I think Kiara should tell the truth. Ruhi says I don’t know how will Dadi react. Abhira says its Kiara’s wish, I won’t force anyone.

Manisha cries. Madhav, Manoj and Sanjay call Kiara’s best friends to know about her. Manoj says we don’t know about Kiara. He asks Madhav to do something. Madhav says I will talk to my team. Aryan says Abhira is missing. Dadi says she might fall in some trouble. She sees Abhira coming. She scolds her. Ruhi and Kiara come. Manisha asks Kiara where did you go by lying to me. Dadi stops Abhira.

Abhira says talk to her once. Dadi asks where did you go and take Ruhi along. Ruhi says we were going to temple. Kiara says no, we were going to my friend’s holi party. Manoj asks how did Abhira know about it. Abhira says social media. Manisha says you are so clever. Dadi says you went there after I refused. Kiara says Ruhi came for my safety, our car broke down, some men troubled us, Abhira came and saved us, she fixed the car, we got late in coming home. Dadi scolds her and asks why did you lie. Kiara argues. Dadi slaps her. Abhira comes in between and gets slapped. Abhira says you slap the people who say the truth, Kiara is your granddaughter, not a kid, why will the kids say the truth if they get slapped, just get angry on me, not them, you always say family is imp to you, I don’t think its true, your love for the family is losing, your hatred for me is winning.

Vidya says Armaan has gone to the office today. Armaan comes and dances on Jai Jai shiv shankar. Abhira falls in Armaan’s arms.
