Katha Ankahee 11th September 2023 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Katha expressing surprise at Maya’s plan to act out her and Viaan’s story during their Sangeet. Maya lies to Katha, claiming that the idea came from Teji. Katha is pleased, believing it to be Teji’s idea. Maya pretends to be excited to hear about Katha and Viaan’s love story and encourages her to share the entire tale.Katha reveals to Maya that her initial equation with Viaan was not good but eventually changed. She also confides in Maya about her decision to quit Earthcon in the beginning. Maya acts shocked and tries to pry for more information, but Katha defends Viaan, stating that it was her own decision. Maya questions this choice, which surprises Katha.
Ignoring Katha’s reaction, Maya suggests that Katha’s decision may have been influenced by Aarav’s cancer treatment at the time. Katha nods in agreement. Maya then asks Katha how she managed to arrange money for Aarav’s treatment. Katha nervously recalls her conversation with Viaan and mentions that she received help from friends and others. Maya praises Katha and leaves, leaving Katha feeling anxious.
Maya meets Viaan in his cabin and informs him about her and Teji’s decision to portray Katha and Viaan’s life story during the Sangeet. She asks Viaan to share everything about their love story. Viaan speaks highly of Katha. Maya then questions Viaan about Katha arranging money for Aarav’s treatment on her own and if he knows anything about it. Viaan is shocked and uncomfortable but lies to Maya, claiming he has no knowledge. He then reminds Maya of their planned shopping trip with Katha and Aarav before leaving.
Maya calls Teji and reveals Katha’s unusual reaction when questioned about the money for Aarav’s treatment. She also mentions that Viaan seemed unaware of the situation. Maya suspects that Katha is hiding something even from Viaan. Teji is shocked and surprised. Maya shares her conversation with Katha’s friend Rewa, who informed her about the hospital where Aarav was treated. Maya decides to visit the hospital to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, Katha, Viaan, and Aarav are seen shopping for the wedding. Aarav suggests visiting the temple to thank God for granting his prayer requests. Katha and Viaan agree. Maya meets the chief doctor, Ketan, at the hospital and tries to bribe him for information about Katha’s efforts to arrange money for Aarav’s treatment, but he refuses to cooperate. Maya becomes upset.
Katha and Viaan inform Teji and Maya about Aarav’s prayer request and their plan to visit the temple. Aarav chooses not to join them. Maya approves of Katha and Viaan’s decision to go to the temple. After they leave, Maya tells Teji that Katha paid one crore in cash. She recalls a nurse who helped her obtain this information. Both Maya and Teji become hopeful, believing that the truth about Katha’s past will help them separate Katha and Viaan.
In the preview: Katha and Viaan are shown traveling together. Katha expresses her fear to Viaan about something going wrong whenever she is happy. Maya instigates Ehsan against Viaan and he questions Viaan about giving money to Katha for Aarav’s treatment. Viaan appears shocked.
