In the episode, Shreya informs Yuvraj that she has begun working on her next plan, but refuses to reveal any details until she feels like it. Meanwhile, Ram arrives at the office to find Kriti upset and waiting for him. She questions him about his whereabouts, suspecting that he spent time with Priya. Ram explains that he dropped Priya off at her clinic at his mother’s request, as she is also focused on work.

Kriti expresses her insecurities and suggests ending their contract marriage sooner than planned, giving the excuse of Ram’s mother’s upcoming surgery as a way to reveal the truth to Shalini. Ram is taken aback by Kriti’s suggestion, emphasizing that his mother’s well-being is his top priority. However, their conversation is interrupted when Ram receives a message and abruptly leaves.

Meanwhile, Priya returns home and encounters a servant who eagerly asks what she needs. Priya smiles at the servant’s enthusiasm and requests water, deciding to fetch it herself. In another scene, Ram questions the doctor about the delay in his mother’s surgery, as it was originally scheduled to take place two days after their marriage. The doctor explains that some pending tests are causing the delay.

Unknown to them, someone adds something suspicious to Shalini’s soup. Priya is on her way to the kitchen when Shreya stops her. Meanwhile, the person tampering with the soup hurries to finish the task. Shreya condescendingly lectures Priya about the household hierarchy and how they delegate tasks to their servants. Priya, however, expresses her disapproval, stating that despite being a daughter-in-law, she still considers herself a middle-class girl who doesn’t believe in such distinctions. She proceeds to get water, unaware of the commotion in the kitchen.

Later, Ram returns home, and Shreya informs him that Shalini refuses to drink the tasteless soup and is sitting with Priya instead. Ram and Shreya attempt to persuade Shalini, but she adamantly refuses. Shalini asks Priya to handle the situation, but Priya explains that she recently ate something and can’t have the soup. Shreya becomes anxious and blames Priya for eating junk food. Shalini insists on eating something prepared by Priya, much to Shreya’s annoyance.

Ram informs Shalini about her appointment while Shalini requests that Priya be entrusted with the responsibility of the house keys, as she considers her the real owner. Shreya protests, but Shalini asserts Priya’s role as her daughter-in-law and hands over the keys to her. Shalini declares Priya the new boss of the house, irritating Shreya. Later, in their room, Priya playfully taunts Ram about obtaining the keys, and Ram retaliates by deliberately putting his feet on the center table with shoes on, sparking a lighthearted argument between them.
