Katha Ankahee 26th December 2022 Written Episode Update

Viaan enters the hotel room with bag of money. He checks the bedroom in great despair for what he was doing. He drinks full bottle of water in one gulp. Katha is standing in hotel lobby. Viaan drinks alcohol. The assistant directs Katha to her luxury suit, room 1001. Viaan wants Katha not to come, he wants to have peace by being a stranger with her. For he hopes she is the good he sees in her and the place he invited her to today is usually the last stop for the darkest night. Viaan pours himself another glass of alcohol. Katha fearful moves towards the room, she takes Arav photo out of her bag and kisses it.

Mrs. Garewal stand beside her husband. As she turns around Mr. Garewal asks if Arav actually looks like their Hadi. She hugs him and assures him. Arav even resembles his grandfather. Mr. Garewal agrees to pay for Arav’s treatment for his grandmother’s sake. She asks Mr. Garewal’s permission to inform Katha about it.

Katha stands outside the room. Viaan waits for her inside. She is about to knock on the door but receives a call from an unknown number, she declines but gets a call again.

Mrs. Garewal wonders why Katha isn’t picking up. Katha rejects the call second time. Teju blames it on time, it’s late and Arav sleeps early. She will inform Katha about the new in morning. Teju notice the starless, moonless sky outside. It’s a dark night outside.

Viaan picks his coat to leave the room, he opens the door to find Katha standing outside. They both are in shock. Katha comes inside the room. Both Viaan and Katha are hesitant towards each other. Viaan asks her for a drink, Katha rejects. Viaan comes to her, Katha asks for the money. Viaan suspects her not having trust on him, he shows her the bag full of money. He asks her not to worry, a deal is a deal for him, all the money belongs to Katha. Katha puts her bag on the couch. Viaan approaches her from behind, he tries to slide her hair. Katha steps away. Viaan doesn’t want force anything, he gives her the liberty to leave if she wants. Katha didn’t come this far to leave. They both come face to face, Viaan leans forward and slides her hair aside. Katha stand firm to the ground until Viaan comes near her face. Katha takes a step back, but Viaan pulls her towards himself.

Rewa is asleep beside Arav. He wakes up asking for his mother. Rewa offers him water, but Arav wants her mother here. Rewa asks if Arav is worried about her mother. Arav questions her for being detective. Rewa is a friend to both, she asks Arav about his concern. Arav cannot go to bathroom without his mother, he doesn’t drink water in evening to avoid going to bathroom and disturb his mother. Katha already works all day for him, but now she is working night shift for him. Rewa tells that Katha isn’t working for Arav, she is selfishly working for herself. She will get Arav treated to secure her future, once he becomes a cricketer Katha will enjoy being famous. Rewa comforts Arav as whatever Katha is doing in the present if for their better future. Arava promises to make his mother proud. He asks Rewa to put her hand on his head, he will read a prayer Katha taught him. Rewa asks the meaning of that prayer. Arav translates that God is one who knows everything. Katha will give Arav power while God will give Katha the power.

Viaan sleeps while Katha lies awake in the bed. She dresses up and leaves with the bag. Viaan notices Katha leaving. Katha runs out of the hotel. He looks over Katha leaving from his window. He says how turns around to look back at the things they want to remember but for Katha it was a business transaction. Highly professional of Katha.

PRECAP: Viaan leaves for home. He regrets the act for him Katha could have been the person to help him cross the bridge he stepped on. The feels more drawn towards the darkness. Katha says that the dark night will always scare her everytime.
