BhagyaLakshmi 23rd August 2023 Written Episode Update

The episode starts with Malishka entering Rishi’s room and trying to make him forget about Lakshmi by reminding him of the past they spent together. However, Rishi still remembers his time with Lakshmi and is unable to let go of her. Neelam enters the room and tells Rishi that she forgives him for going to bring Lakshmi against her wishes. Rishi explains that Lakshmi actually helped him by refusing to come back, but Neelam supports Malishka and asks Rishi to forget his past. She informs him that their marriage date is fixed and advises him to focus on their business as well. Rishi agrees, but Malishka tells him not to mention Lakshmi’s name again before leaving.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi talks to Bani and Shalu about moving on in life and asks for their support. Bani and Shalu express their wishes for her to never have separated from Rishi.

Next, Lakshmi gets ready for her office while Shalu asks her to perform the puja and prepares her lunchbox. Lakshmi completes the puja.

On the other hand, Malishka helps Rishi get ready and compliments his appearance. She calls them the perfect couple and asks for a smile from him, to which Rishi obliges. They plan to go shopping.

At the jewelry store where Lakshmi works, Rishi and Malishka arrive. Lakshmi notices them, but Malishka suggests going to another store. However, Rishi insists on staying and asks Malishka to choose the jewelry she likes.

While working at the store, Lakshmi overhears the sales staff mentioning a person named Puja who is coming for a chain that was given for repair. Ayushman Khurana, who is at the store, pretends to be Puja and manages to acquire the chain from the salesmen. Rishi, thinking that Puja is outside the store, asks Ayushman if he has seen her. Ayushman denies seeing Puja and engages in a conversation with Ananya Pandey about their upcoming movie with Rishi and Lakshmi.

Kiran talks to Neelam and Karishma about Malishka’s fear that Rishi has fallen in love with Lakshmi because he brought her back to the mansion. Neelam assures Kiran that Rishi only feels gratitude towards Lakshmi for saving his life multiple times and she is certain of it.

Malishka asks Lakshmi to show her the Mangalsutra, but the saleswoman directs Malishka to the Mangalsutra section. Malishka insists that Lakshmi should show her the Mangalsutra and makes a demeaning comment about Lakshmi’s fate. Rishi intervenes and takes Malishka to the Mangalsutra section. Malishka then asks Lakshmi to choose a Mangalsutra for her based on her social status and insults her in the process. Rishi tells Malishka to stop and helps her choose a Mangalsutra. Malishka declares that she will never remove the Mangalsutra.
