The episode starts with Vikrant feeling happy as Lakshmi is going to be his life partner. Malishka compliments Lakshmi and Vikrant’s pair. The old lady calls Lakshmi. Lakshmi slips and Rishi helps Lakshmi. The old lady thanks Lakshmi and blesses both Rishi and Lakshmi as a pair. Malishka says to the old lady that Rishi and she are a pair. Vikrant says it’s just a misunderstanding and leaves from there. The old lady prays for Lakshmi’s well-being.

Malishka asks Rishi if they can go to someplace else. Rishi says no and says to Malishka that she should select something for herself. The shop owner invites Rishi warmly.

Dadi complaints to herself about everyone being suspicious of Lakshmi all the time. Virendra comes and asks Dadi what happened. Dadi says to Virendra that everyone is always suspicious of Lakshmi all the time in this house.

Rishi introduces Lakshmi and Vikrant as a newly going to be married couple. The shop owner warmly greets them.

Dadi says to Virendra that if anyone points to Lakshmi again then she will answer them instead of Lakshmi. Virendra agrees with Dadi and says he will also teach them a lesson who points finger at Lakshmi from now on.

Vikrant sees Anjana and Saloni and he greets them. Anjana and Saloni say to Vikrant that they came here to select a Mangalsutra for Lakshmi. Vikrant asks Anjana and Saloni to select a Mangalsutra while they select the ring. Vikrant and Lakshmi leave from there along with Rishi and Malishka.

The saleswoman shows engagement rings to Vikrant and Lakshmi. Vikrant gets a call and he gets upset seeing the phone number. Vikrant puts his phone aside. Vikrant likes an engagement ring and he requests Lakshmi if he can wear the ring on her finger. Rishi shouts at Vikrant to stop. Vikrant drops the ring hearing Rishi’s shout.

Karishma and Neelam think about how would Rishi know that Lakshmi is in danger without anyone telling him. Rishi later realises that he slipped his tongue. Rishi takes the ring and explains to Vikrant that it will lose the charm on the engagement day if he puts the ring on her finger right now as he has already done it before the engagement. Vikrant agrees with Rishi’s reason and asks Lakshmi to put the ring on her finger and check it out. Lakshmi puts the ring on her finger. Vikrant asks Lakshmi if he likes it. Lakshmi says yes. Rishi sees that Vikrant is getting calls continuously. Rishi asks Vikrant to take it. Vikrant leaves from there to take the call.

Malishka runs into her friend Moni. Malishka asks Moni if she got married. Moni says no. Moni asks Malishka about her marriage. Malishka says it’s going to be soon and points to Rishi. Moni compliments Rishi.

Vikrant talks with someone on the phone and says their deal has been done. Vikrant sees Shalu and cuts the call. Shalu asks Vikrant where is Lakshmi? Vikrant says Lakshmi over there and says to Shalu that she can call him a brother in law from now on. Shalu stays silent.

Ayush brings Shalu to a side and asks her what is she doing? Shalu says Ayush asked her to find out where are Vikrant and Lakshmi going. Ayush couldn’t believe what Shalu said at first. Shalu says to Ayush that she will try to make Rishi and Lakshmi get together. Ayush asks Shalu not to do that and says it’s the right thing to do. The saleswoman asks Lakshmi if she wants to see Mangalsutra. Lakshmi stays silent.
