Imlie 8th April : Imlie Plans Agastya & Surya’s Birthday Celebrations!
Surya prepares biryani for Indira and pleads her to come out of her room and have it. Indira ignores him. Surya says he is his tai amma’s shadow and will not have food until she has food. Mahesh asks Hemalatha to ask Surya to stop his drama as Indira is upset because of him. Hemalatha asks Imlie not to bother about Mahesh’s words as he is hurt, but Indira is upset because Imlie scratched her past. Imlie drops Surya’s plate and shouts he is severely injured and bleeding heavily. Everyone are shocked and asks what is she saying.
Surya asksif she has gone mad. Imlie says she will bring a first-aid kit. Indira opens door worried for Surya and asks where is he injured. Imlie apologizes her for playing a drama to provoke Indira’s motherhood. Indira asks maid to bring biryani and enjoys it with Surya. She taunts Imlie that she was right that she can do anything for her son and values her family first, Imlie may not be knowing all this as she is an orphan. Imlie feels upset hearing that.
Raghu tells Malti and Nirmala that he knows why Surya married Imlie. Nirmala asks him to reveal it and get them rid off Imlie. Raghu asks her to bail him out of jail if she wants to know the secret. Imlie sits upset under a tree recalling Indira’s bitter words. Surya brings biryani for her and asks her why did she create such a drama even after his warning. Imlie says if he had revealed truth, she wouldn’t have done this. He says he will tell truth at the right time and asks her to promise him that she will not question him until then. She eats biryani. He joins. her. Anjali feels upset watching them from a window. Malti calls Anjali and informs her that Raghu knows why Surya married Imlie, but will only reveal it if she bails her out. Anjali assures her not to worry as she will bail Raghu out.
Imlie prepares cake for Agastya’s birthday. Surya asks if she is preparing Agastya’s birthday cake. Imlie says she will tonight as the birthday is tomorrow. Surya says she forgot that Agastya was his twin brother. Imlie says Raghu would have been happy to meet him. Surya recalls watching Agastya’s video. He says it’s also his birthday tomorrow and his family celebrates it on the day they found him. Imlie says she will inform his family about his birthday, he would be happy to hear that. Anjali bails out Raghu and asks him to reveal the reason behind Surya marrying Imlie.
Indira with whole family wishes happy birthday to Surya and says they will celebrate Surya’s birthday twice a year, she will prepare dosa for Surya. Hemalatha asks her to rest and let her prepare dosa. Imlie says Hemalatha is right and says she will prepare dosa. Indira asks if she knows to prepare dosa. Imlie says she used to run aloo poori cart and will learn preparing dosa with maid’s help. Indira permits her.
Surya walks behind Imlie. Indira says Imlie is celebrating someone else’s birthday. Imlie tries to prepare dosa. Surya offers her help, but she refuses. Their nok jhok starts. Imlie fails to prepare dosa and finally asks Surya’s help. Surya teaches her preparing dosa. She prepares sambar and asks him to taste. He says it’s not perfect. She says something is missing in his head. He says he wants something else. She asks what. He says Imlie/tamarind.
