Yeh Hai Chahatein 20th March : Aditya Plots Against Arjun
The episode opens with Kaashvi expressing to Aditya her understanding of the pain of living without a father. She explains that she came there to prevent Karun from experiencing the same pain, reminding Aditya of the recent challenges Karun faced. She urges Aditya to apologize to Karun. Aditya apologizes to the teacher for his overreaction, who then asks him to apologize to Karun and Arjun. Aditya apologizes to Karun, who assures him it’s okay. Arjun questions if Aditya said anything, prompting Aditya to apologize to him as well. The teacher announces that the Bajwa family is the best family. Karun, along with Arjun and Kaashvi, goes on stage to accept the award.
Aditya quietly reveals that he had a plan for Arjun, believing that Sushma is in jail because of him. He suggests to Kaashvi that they should go home. Karun asks Kaashvi if she won’t celebrate his success with him. Arjun realizes that Aditya is uncomfortable with Kaashvi spending time with him and Karun. He doesn’t want Aditya to cause problems for Kaashvi, so he tells Karun that since the school picnic is almost over, Kaashvi should go with Aditya.
The next day, Aditya informs Arjun that they are going to a bank due to a robbery. Arjun offers to call their team, but Aditya tells him that the police team is already there. He believes the mission is dangerous, which is why he’s taking Arjun with him. Later, a police inspector informs Aditya that there are four terrorists inside the bank.
Aditya asks the police inspector about the terrorists’ demands. The inspector reveals that the terrorists want a getaway vehicle, four passports, and the gold and cash stored in the bank vault. Aditya addresses the terrorists over the microphone, urging them to release the hostages. The terrorists respond that they need a doctor immediately. Arjun suggests to the police inspector to call a doctor.
Aditya dismisses the need for a doctor, stating that Arjun is their doctor. He instructs Arjun to go inside disguised as a doctor, reminding him of his experience in such situations. Arjun points out that this situation is different due to the large number of hostages. Aditya assures him that he will negotiate with the terrorists and asks Arjun to gather all the information. He promises to provide Arjun with a bulletproof jacket, asserting that the country needs him. Arjun commits to saving the hostages. Aditya requests the police inspector to arrange everything, confident that he will save the hostages and certain that Arjun won’t survive.
Kaashvi learns that Aditya involved Arjun in the bank robbery mission. Aditya tells Arjun not to hesitate to risk his life to save the hostages. Arjun enters the bank. Kaashvi arrives and questions Aditya about why he sent Arjun inside. Aditya explains to Kaashvi that Arjun has experience handling such situations. Kaashvi asserts that she will do what she wants to do. Inside the bank, Arjun shows his identity card to the terrorists.
