Imlie 24th March: Imlie Meets Indira !

The episode begins with Imlie accusing Surya of ruining her life. Surya counters by reminding her of his promise to Amma ji. Imlie retorts that he doesn’t have the right to make decisions on her behalf. Surya points out that she too made a promise to Amma ji. He then ushers Imlie into his car and drives her to the Mansion. As Pandit ji completes the havan rituals, Surya instructs Imlie to go inside while he retrieves his phone from the car.

Indira, expecting to welcome Surya, is surprised to find Imlie instead. She questions Imlie’s presence, and a man informs her that Imlie is there to charge them double.

Malti approaches Imlie, asking about her intentions. She informs Indira about Imlie’s past and how her husband ended up in jail because of her. Indira instructs Nirmala to pay Panditji double for preventing Surya’s marriage to Imlie. A lady discovers vermillion in Imlie’s hairline, leaving Malti and Nirmala surprised. Surya apologizes to Indira and admits to everyone that he has married Imlie.

Indira reacts angrily, accusing Surya of pitying Imlie. She declares that she will provide Imlie with a job and accommodation but refuses to accept their marriage. Surya reveals to Indira that he was the one who applied the vermillion to Imlie’s hairline. Indira begins to taunt Imlie, and Nirmala tells Hemlata that Imlie doesn’t realize she doesn’t belong there. Nirmala criticizes Surya for forgetting his upbringing and accuses the Chaudharys of taking advantage of him. Imlie defends Amma ji, asserting that Indira doesn’t understand her love for everyone. Indira warns Imlie not to interfere in her matters. Nirmala labels Imlie as rude and cunning, and Hemlata suggests that they must now deal with the fact that Surya and Imlie are married.

Surya informs Indira that it was his decision to marry Imlie. He tells Indira that she doesn’t know Amma ji and that if she had met her earlier, she would have liked her. Indira argues that Imlie isn’t fit to be a daughter-in-law of the Reddy family. Surya takes Imlie’s hand and leads her away. He instructs Imlie to get in the car and reprimands her for accusing him of hurting his family. Imlie tells Surya that she won’t stay where she isn’t respected and that she needs to consider whether to stay or not. She instructs Surya to go inside.

Amma ji calls Imlie to inquire about her in-laws. Imlie doesn’t respond but assures Amma ji that she won’t overthink and that her in-laws are very good. Amma ji advises Imlie to take care of herself and the Reddy family. Imlie informs Amma ji that she has been called for Grah pravesh. Sonali and Shivani advise Imlie to be careful. Imlie starts crying in the car.

Precap:  Imlie tells Surya that she plans to live separately for a year to focus on her studies and become a journalist. Indira informs Nirmala that their daughters-in-law don’t have the right to study or work.
