Bhagya Lakshmi 17th January 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with a scene of Rishi and Ayush carrying Lakshmi downstairs. She is trembling with fear and they make her sit on the stairs. Shalu and Bani rush to her with a glass of water and try to comfort her. Rishi gently helps Lakshmi sip the water.

Sonia, who is annoyed by the interruption of Neelam’s birthday party, taunts Lakshmi and calls her inauspicious. She says that Lakshmi always spoils the fun and happiness of others. Rishi gets angry and tells Sonia to shut up. He says that Lakshmi is not feeling well and she needs some respect.

Harleen and Virendra, who are concerned about Lakshmi, ask her what happened to her. They ask her why she is looking so scared and pale. Rishi says that he doesn’t know what scared Lakshmi so much. He says that he found her in a state of panic and shock when he reached her room. Malishka, who is secretly plotting to kill Neelam, thinks that Lakshmi might have seen Balwinder, her accomplice, who is hiding in the attic. He says that the knife he had was not sharp enough and it took him a long time to cut the rope. Malishka insults Balwinder and calls him a fool. She then tells him to hurry up and cut the rope completely. She tells him to inform her as soon as the chandelier is about to fall. She says that she will bring Neelam under the chandelier and make it look like an accident. Balwinder asks Malishka what about Lakshmi. He asks her how she will stop Lakshmi from telling anyone about him. Malishka says that she has a plan for Lakshmi. She says that she will lock Lakshmi in the room and when the chandelier is about to fall, she will open the door and pretend to be shocked. She says that no one will suspect her of anything. He says that Lakshmi must have been stressed and confused. He tries to calm down Lakshmi and tells her that everything is fine. Malishka asks Rishi to go and join the party. She says that Neelam is waiting for him and he should not miss her birthday celebration. Rishi says that he has to stay here and take care of Lakshmi. He says that Lakshmi is his priority and he cannot leave her alone. Malishka asks Lakshmi to convince Rishi to go to the party. She says that Lakshmi should not be selfish and let Rishi enjoy with his sister. She says that Neelam will be sad if Rishi is not there. Lakshmi agrees and insists Rishi to go to the party. She says that she is feeling better and she does not need him to stay with her. She says that he should go and have fun with Neelam. Rishi agrees and says that he will go to the party. He says that he will come back soon and check on Lakshmi. He says that he loves Lakshmi and kisses her forehead. He leaves the room. Malishka locks the door behind him and smiles wickedly.
