Imlie : Nila & Narmada Harass Imlie ; Imlie Breaks Down !
Imlie gets emotional recalling Narmada, Aryan, and Arpita’s excitement for her baby. She thinks Aryan is working hard to cheer her up and keep the family happy, so she shouldn’t ruin his hard work by being sad. She keeps baby clothes in the cupboard and tries to focus on her work. Narmada walks to her and says she should visit with her to a baba who treats women’s infertility with jharphook/superstitious ritual. Imlie says she doesn’t believe in jharphook babas as they are fake. Narmada asks her to accept that she has a defect and should at least do this for the family’s lineage. Imlie agrees for her sake. Aryan enters and asks where are they going. Imlie lies that Narmada is taking her to a baba who sings bhajan well. Aryan asks her to finish her work first.
At Baba place, Baba announces to visit him and experience the miracle. Nila shows pregnant ladies to Narmada and says Baba blessed them all with rituals to become pregnant. Narmada says she just needs a heir for her family. Nila takes her towards ashram. Imlie hears baba’s aides demanding huge money for private pooja and realizes he is a greedy conman. She thinks she wants to hit baba with her elbow, but is helpless. Narmada greets Baba. Baba looks at Imlie and asks Narmada where dis she get this sinner bahu from who has committed lots of sins in her past lives and hence cannot become pregant. Narmada pleads him to find some solution as she can pay any amount for her grandchildrfen. Baba says Imlie has to sacrifice for a baby. Narmada says she will and asks Imlie if she will.
Imlie asks him what she should do. He says if she needs her own blood, she needs to slit her hand and drop 100 drops of blood in a pot. Imlie is shocked to hear that and refuses to do that. She tells Narmada that baba is fake and is acting. Baba shouts he is not fake. Nila yells at Imlie that she is very arrogant and selfish cares for only herself, that is why she is infertile. Imlie walks away while Narmada tries to stop her. Nila provokes Narmada that she should separate Imlie from Aryan if Imlie doesn’t want to bear a child by performing the rituals and should get Aryan married to Gudiya instead.
Imlie cries sitting on a chair. A girl walks to her. Imlie feels delighted and plays with the girl, but the girl’s mother drags the girl away from her saying she will not let her daughter influenced by a sinner. Imlie questions why they judge a woman based on her motherhood while a woman achieves success in life in many other things. She suggests them not to believe in superstitions and fake Baba. She says they got pregnant due to fait in themselves and not superstitious rituals, hence they shouldn’t destroy their lives in the trap.
Narmada warns her to shut up when she cannot respect her MIL’s request. She ordes her to leave Aryan if she cannot follow the ritual, then she will get Aryan married to Gudiya and get her legal heirs. Nila provokes saying when Imlie can marry Aryan for the second time fulfil her needs, then why don’t she leave Aryan. Narmada says Imlie had issues with her marriage, so she had to divorce her first husband. Nila says even Aditya left her due to her defects. Imlie starts crying hearing their taunts. Narmada threatens Imlie again to either perform the ritual or leave Aryan.
Precap: Imlie is forced to cut her hand and perform superstitious ritual. Aryan reaches there and shouts at everyone.
