Aryaman tells Sadhu that he will dance with Janvi until Sadhu returns. Janvi tries to leave, but Aryaman stops her and starts dancing with her. Aryaman explains to Janvi that he is just trying to zip up her dress, which he does while dancing. Janvi thanks Aryaman. Brij Bhushan sees them dancing together and misunderstands the situation, then leaves. Raina believes this misunderstanding will be the end of Aryaman.
Janvi leaves, and Aryaman follows her. Aryaman tells Janvi that it’s good that Sadhu is adopting Kian, and suggests that she should also adopt Sadhu’s son. Janvi thinks it’s a good idea and thanks Aryaman. Aryaman leaves.
Sadhu arrives and gives Janvi an adoption form, asking her to fill it out. Janvi asks if she can adopt Sadhu’s son. Sadhu tries to make excuses, saying his wife won’t allow it, but Janvi insists on talking to his wife. Sadhu reluctantly agrees to bring his son to meet her, though he secretly worries because he has no son. Aryaman plans to trap Sadhu in his own lies.
Janvi fills out the adoption form with tears in her eyes. Dadi notices she wrote the wrong name on the form and explains that after the marriage, Kian’s name will be Kian Sadanand Sadhu, not Kian Joshi. Dadi offers to bring a whitener, but Janvi wipes away Joshi’s name with her tears. Janvi explains to Dadi that she had to bow to the world and give Kian another person’s name for his future. Dadi comforts Kian.
Brij Bhushan scolds Aryaman for leaving Alia on the road and going to Janvi’s engagement. Raina accuses Aryaman of ruining their reputation. Brij Bhushan sarcastically comments that it’s typical for a criminal to be close to another criminal. Aryaman defends Janvi, insisting she is not a criminal. Brij Bhushan tries to slap Aryaman, but Prem Chand intervenes and stops him. Brij Bhushan orders Aryaman to return to Australia, but Prem Chand says Aryaman will apologize to Alia instead. Brij Bhushan leaves.
Prem Chand asks Aryaman why he didn’t complete Brij Bhushan’s task. Aryaman explains that he had no choice because Sadhu is involved in escort racketing at their hotel and was behind the attack on Brij Bhushan. Aryaman says he went to stop Janvi’s engagement with Sadhu and promises to gather evidence and expose him soon.
Janvi consults a lawyer to ask if it is mandatory to change Kian’s surname for adoption. The lawyer confirms it is necessary.
Muralidhar visits Sadhu under the pretense of celebrating Sadhu’s engagement, but his real intention is to get Sadhu intoxicated and record his confession. Sadhu worries about what he might say while drunk.
Aryaman sees Muralidhar’s message and plans to use Sadhu’s recorded confession to show Janvi and stop Kian’s adoption.
Precap: Sadhu acts emotionally in front of Janvi and says I made a big mistake. Janvi asks what’s wrong. He says I lied to you. Aryaman standing nearby asks him what are you lying about? Sadhu says the truth is I don’t have any certificate.
