Yeh Hai Chahatein : The Hidden Connection of Akhtar & Nayantara !

Akhtar tells Nayantara that he had lost hope to see her again. Ishani calls him appa/father and walks to him. Nayan asks what is she doing here. Ishani says she will explain later and asks Akhtar where was he all these these and why didn’t he return to them and made them believe that he is dead. She asks Nayan why she lied that she came here to meet Akhtar and meet appa instead. Nayantara says even she didn’t know appa is Akhtar and found out just now. She asks appa where was he for 10 years, its their right to know.

Appa says he will explain everything. Samrat realizes that Akhtar is Nayan and Ishani’s appa who hid from Nayan’s family and let them suffer for 10 years. Aaliya says she will see who he is and is shocked to see him. She asks Sam to look at him once. Sam is also shocked and asks what is this man doing here, they should go from here and let daughters confront him, he will question that man later. He, Aaliya, and Mohit leave.

Appa/Govind tells Nayan and Ishani that nothing was important to him than Malati and them both, but situation forced him to go away from them. Nayan asks what had happened. Govind says he had an affair and had to leave them. Nayan says he used to say that he loves Malati. Govind says Aarti was his first college love and he wanted to marry her, but her parents got her married to someone else and sent ther to London; he had shattered after that and his parents got him married to Malati who was a good life partner and he started loving her, but then Aarti returned to India after 11 years and his old love relived again. He recalls on the day of Chintu’s delivery, he gets intimate with Aarti and tells her that they both have their own families and commitments and hence should concentrate on their families now. Aarti says they can continue to meet though.

Shanti calls Govind and informs him that Malati got labor pain and should be shifted to hospital. Govind gets ready to visit hospital. Aarti asks him to drop her on the way. Govind agrees and drives car towards home. Aarti informs him that her husband Ashok doubts that she is having an affair, but lets continue their affair. They both get romantic, and his car hits another car which crashes to a car. They get out of car to check condition of the driver.

Aarthi shouts that the driver is her husband Ashok. She finds him dead and her and Govind’s intimate pics in his mobile. She realizes he knew about them and was going to expose them. She convinces Govind to shift to London with her and replace her husband there. Govind hesitates at first but then agrees when she convinces him. They replace his clothes with Ashok’s and make it look like it he died in accident.

Out of flashback, Govind says he was worried for them and wanted to return, but didn’t; he returned to India 2 years ago after Aartis’ death and met Malati. Nayan asks if amma knows that he is alive. He recalls Malati confronting him for leaving her alone to take care of her 3 children and betrayed her for another woman, etc.

Govind says he wants to return whatever she lost. Malati asks if he can return her children’s growing years and their happier days, she will not accept him back in her life again, etc. He says after Malati rejected him, he was living in India in hopes of meeting his children. Nayan asks why was he living as Akhtar.

Precap: Govind requests Nayan and Ishani to give one chance to their father. Nayan and Ishani convince Malati to give one more chance to Govind. Nayan then introduces Samrat to Govind as her husband. Govind asks Samrat what is he doing here. Nayan asks if he knows Samrat. Samrat says of course Govind knows him.
