Imlie : Imlie Impresses Agastya’s Family !
Sonali tells Agastya that she doubts that he married a random girl to defeat her. Agastya says Imlie is a hard working girl who wants to make her own identity, he never saw such a brilliant girl, she is from a rich family, he had met her before going to abroad and when he returned she participated in a super chef competition and won it, she herself resigned from a job before he could criticize her, etc. Jugnu says what a nice cooked up story. Govind asks what does he mean.
Jugnu says he means Imlie cooks really well and her determination is very solid. Agastya says Imlie doesn’t want to take family’s help and hence was running an aloo puri cart. Imlie asks him to stop lying. Agastya asks if he shall tell everyone that she is a bar signer. Daadi says its late night and they shall go and sleep. Agastya holds Imlie’s hand and says let’s go to the room. Imlie asks what does he mean. Agastya says he knows what he means. Manno jokes. Daadi asks them to stop it now.
Pallo and Bulbul visit Ashu to know where Imlie is and trick him to call her. Imlie notices a call and walks out of room silently. Agastya searches for her. Imlie talks to Ashu and comforts him. Ashu says Pallo and Bulbul said a bear took her away and she will never return. Imlie says they themselves are bears and asks him not to believe them as they are bad people. She promises to return to him soon and asks him to sleep now. He requests her to sing a lullaby for her. She sings Bada Natkhat Hai Ye Kishan Kanhaiya.. song.
Chaudhry family hears her song and are astonished with her voice. Agastya searches for her and fears family will find out her true identity. Manno says it’s coming from outside. Sonali says it’s from inside the house for sure. Govind recalls a singer at Noyonika and Agastya’s engagement venue and tells amma that same signer is singing here. Amma says for her, all signgers sound same. Alka says this voice is irritating her and reminding her of her old wounds.
Noyonika’s family comfort her. Daadi says her granddaughter’s life is ruined between two sibling’s fight for wealth and now people will blame her granddaughter. Mrs Johri suggess Noyonika to leave the city to avoid people’s taunts. Noyonika refuses to leave the city as it’s not her mistake. Imlie stops singing after Ashu falls asleep. Bulbul asks where is she.
Agastya snatches phone from Imlie and says this is a house and not a bar that she started singing for her client. Alka with family walks to her and tongue lashes her for singing like a bar girl. Agastya lies that Imlie was missing her mother and listening to a lullaby. Govind says mother’s lullaby is divine. Agastya says he can’t tolerate signing in this house as it’s cheap. Govind says his uncle is also a signer, if he thinks even his uncle is cheap. Agastya says he didn’t mean that.
Bulbul and Pallo forcefully wake up Ashu forcefully and asks him to reveal where Imlie is. He asks for Bulbul’s lollipop. Bulbul gives him lollipop. He says he doesn’t know as Imlie didn’t tell where she is. They both cuss him. Maama walks in and asks what is happening. Ashu says they want to know Imlie’s location. Nurse walks in and asks them all to leave and don’t disturb an ill kid. Back to room, Agastya tongue lashes Imlie for singing at his house and trying to reveal her true identity. Their argument ensues. Imlie challenges him to dare try to stop her signing.
