Yeh Hai Chahatein 21st May : Kaashvi Concerned About Arjun !

The episode opens with a doctor informing Kaashvi that Aditya has slipped into a coma due to a head injury. Kaashvi and Arjun depart, while Jagadish heads out to purchase medicines. Mahima confides in Romila that she suspects Kaashvi and Arjun are concealing something. She finds it implausible that the brakes failed and Aditya couldn’t escape the car. Romila concurs. Kaashvi holds herself accountable for Aditya’s condition.

Arjun reassures her that she isn’t to blame. He asserts it was an accident and that Aditya had it coming. Kaashvi counters that if Aditya were well, the law would have dealt with him. She insists that Aditya doesn’t deserve his current state and blames herself for everything. Their conversation is overheard by Shanti, who wonders if they’re aware of her connection with Aditya.

Kaashvi breaks down, lamenting that Aditya couldn’t escape due to the handcuffs. Arjun reassures her that it wasn’t her fault. When she questions his lack of empathy and humanity, he retorts that despite Aditya being evil, he still saved him. A nurse hands over Aditya’s personal belongings to Kaashvi, which Shanti observes. Fearing that Aditya’s phone contains call records of their conversations, she resolves to act to protect herself.

Ronak queries the doctor about Aditya’s recovery, but the doctor remains noncommittal. Kaashvi informs the doctor of her intention to stay with Aditya. Arjun pulls Kaashvi aside, advising her to hand over all evidence to Ronak and promising to speak with him.

Kaashvi refuses to arrest Aditya in his current state, reminding Arjun that Aditya is still a criminal. She suggests waiting until Aditya recovers. Arjun accuses her of letting her guilt cloud her judgment. She asserts that she won’t arrest Aditya now and confidently states that she knows what she’s doing as a senior civil service officer before walking away. Arjun resolves to expose Aditya.

Shanti approaches Kaashvi, informing her that the receptionist needs her signature on some documents. Once Kaashvi leaves, Shanti decides to erase the call records from Aditya’s phone. She hides when she hears a noise. Arjun enters the room and picks up Aditya’s phone. He spots an unsaved number and dials it. Shanti disconnects the call and turns off the phone. Arjun notices that the messages have been deleted and leaves. Shanti is confident that Arjun won’t catch her.

The doctor recommends moving Aditya home and hiring a nurse. Kaashvi decides to take Aditya home and care for him, asserting that as Aditya’s wife, it’s her responsibility.

Later, Mahima suggests to Romila that they should evict Shanti from the house, revealing that she has a plan. Romila inquires if anyone has seen her gold necklace, stating that she has searched everywhere except Shanti’s room. Shanti denies being a thief. Romila and Mahima search Shanti’s room but find nothing. Shanti produces a necklace, asking if it’s the one they’re looking for.
