Imlie 28th March : Imlie Takes a Stand !

Imlie confronts a guest for disgracing her for being a widow and gives her a nice ear. Guest asks Indira if she spoke right or not. Indira says advice given unnecessarily is wrong, she wasted her advice. Surya thanks guests for coming and asks them to leave. Guests walk away feeling humiliated. Back to room, Surya confronts her for arguing with the guest and asks if she couldn’t keep quiet instead of humiliating guest and indirectly humiliating Indira, would she have done same with Chaudhry family. Imlie says Daadi herself would have kicked out such guests and wouldn’t have tolerated their nonsense.

Indira walks in and says she has seen a woman praising her parental house in in-law’s house and for the first time is seeing a DIL praising ex-in-laws in front of new in-laws. She says guest was right that Imlie should be grateful that she is married again. Imlie asks if she is supporting the guest. Indira says Imlie should be thankful to Surya that he married a widow. Imlie feels shocked with her backward thinking. Nirmala walks in and says drama happened during the function because of her, so she will correct the mistake.

Hemalatha hymns a song and dances while cooking. She gets tensed seeing Imlie and asks if she needs anything. Imlie says she is honored to see a great artist performing and asks if she is professional dancer. Hemalatha says she learnt dance from her city’s best dancing school, used to perform during college, and has received many awards. Imlie says he should continue to portray her art again. Hemalatha says she doesn’t want to now. Imlie asks reason.

Indira enters and says because Hemalatha is married now and dignified girls sacrifice their dreams before entering their sasural, Hemalatha sacrificed her dream and helped her husband achieve success, a woman’s support is behind a man’s success. Imlie says she is right, but both husband and wife should support each other for a successful marriage. Indira fumes hearing her prompt reply.

Imlie returns to her room and sees Nirmala and Malti decorating her room. She asks what is happening. Nirmala says she wants Imlie to accept her marriage with Surya and have suhagraat/consummate with him. Imlie asks her to remove all this. Malti says Imlie doesn’t want to follow her marriage, then why don’t she go from here. Imlie asks what is her problem. Malti says Imlie destroyed her marriage, she is supporting Imlie and Surya’s marriage instead. Imlie says she saved her instead and soon she will realize it.

At police station, Tripathi informs Surya that there is a riot in Vinay Nagar. Surya leaves to handle the situation, leaving his phone on the desk. Imlie calls Surya and gets tensed when he doesn’t pick call. Hemalatha asks why she looks tensed, peeps into her room, and says she should be happy instead and should forget whatever happened and move on with Surya. Nirmala says she is also trying to explain her same, but she is acting weird. Hemalatha says it’s Imlie’s way of feeling shy. Nirmala says she is waiting for Surya to return home. Hemalatha says Imlie should spend quality time with Surya and they both should know each other well. Once the leave, Imlie packs her bags and leaves on her cycle. Nirmala and Malti watch that and hope Imlie doesn’t return.

Surya returns home. Mahesh says he wants to talk to him and tries to speak to him about suhagraat arrangements in Surya’s room today. Surya says he knows about the event today. Mahesh says he should overpower his partner today or else it would be difficult to control her the rest of life. Surya asks what does he mean. Mahesh says today is his suhagraat. Surya gets nervous and walks to his room murmuring what is all this. He switches on his mobile and finds Imlie’s multiple missed calls. He calls her.

Indira walks in and asks what happened. Surya asks where is Imlie. Nirmala says Imlie left home with her bags and says Imlie fought with her when she made suhagraat arrangements and left home. Indira asks what is this new drama now. Surya asks her not to worry, he will go and bring Imlie back home. He gets into his car and calls Imlie. Imlie rejects call and then picks it. He asks if she loves creating drama. Imlie says she doesn’t want to and hence is leaving. Surya asks where. She says he can’t find her.

Precap: Surya notices Imlie crying in sleep and wipes her tears. His girlfriend Anjali calls him and says she reached Purvaiya and asks him to pick her up.
