Jhanak 23rd May : It’s Parting Time for Anirudh & Jhanak?
The episode commences with a disagreement between Anirudh and his fiancée, Arshi. Anirudh attempts to defuse the situation to prevent any blame from falling on him and Jhanak for their joint outing. Jhanak admits that she and Anirudh went to a restaurant together to celebrate his birthday. Anirudh justifies his actions and explains why he invited Jhanak along. Chhoton defends Anirudh, but is rebuked by Shuvo and Tanuja. Anirudh assures everyone that Jhanak will leave the house soon and will not return. He mentions that this was the last birthday they could celebrate together.
Jhanak also confirms that if she safely returns to Kashmir, she will not come back to Kolkata. She expresses her gratitude to the family for providing her with security and shelter during her difficult time. However, none of this appeases Arshi. Anirudh promises that if Jhanak does not find ultimate security in Kashmir, she will return to the state. Suddenly, Ashley notices a lipstick mark on Anirudh’s neck, which raises doubts among the family about the relationship between Anirudh and Jhanak.
Although Arshi confronts Anirudh about the lipstick stain, he fails to provide a satisfactory answer. Before leaving the house, Arshi visits Jhanak’s room and questions her about their secret trip. Jhanak insists that she has already told the truth. Arshi offers Jhanak a large sum of money to leave the house as soon as possible, but Jhanak becomes angry when Arshi tries to bribe her. Arshi wants Jhanak to promise that she will never return to this city, but Jhanak refuses to make such a promise, citing safety concerns in Kashmir. Arshi insists that Jhanak leave the house as soon as possible. When Arshi questions why Jhanak always chooses to save someone over others, Jhanak reminds her that it was Anirudh who saved her life.
On the other hand, Anirudh’s parents want to know if he has any feelings for the maid they consider unworthy. Anirudh refuses to explain anything to his parents, but when he learns that Arshi has visited Jhanak’s room, he becomes more upset. Shubha wants to offer Jhanak 10 lakh rupees to permanently leave the house. Anirudh feels insulted when he hears about the money and forbids his father from doing such a mean job. Vipasha also wants Anirudh to promise that Jhanak will not return to the city next time, but Anirudh says that if Jhanak wants to return to Kolkata, he has no right to stop her.
In the preview, Jhanak will leave the Bose house and will travel to Jammu and Kashmir to take her examination.
