Yeh Hai Chahatein 23rd May : Shanti’s Reality Exposed !

The episode unfolds with Mahima attempting to take her own life. Karun rushes to her side, questioning her actions. Romila intervenes just in time to rescue Mahima. Karun seeks to understand why Mahima would resort to such a drastic step. Mahima expresses her despair, feeling unloved by both Karun and Arjun. Karun confronts Mahima about her closeness with Vishal. She clarifies that Vishal is merely a friend and accuses Arjun of pursuing Kaashvi. Karun warns her against speaking ill of Kaashvi and Arjun. Mahima reveals that Kaashvi is Arjun’s ex-wife and that Kaashvi abandoned Arjun, leading him to marry her. Asserting her role as a good mother, she embraces Karun, who reassures her of his love.

Meanwhile, Jagadish informs Kaashvi of her tardiness and shares the news of Arjun receiving his certificate. Arjun announces his achievement of becoming a civil service officer. Kaashvi congratulates him on realizing Jagadish’s dream. Arjun notices Kaashvi’s unease and inquires about it. Kaashvi shares her suspicions about Shanti’s involvement in Jagadish’s case after spotting her with Rimi. Jagadish discloses his doubts and reveals that he has informed Aditya about Shanti. Kaashvi resolves to expose Shanti.

Subsequently, Shanti serves tea to a nurse who falls unconscious after consuming it. Shanti expresses her concern about Kaashvi’s suspicions and decides to ensure Kaashvi doesn’t find any evidence against her. She steals a locker key, opens the locker, and retrieves a pen drive.

Kaashvi and Arjun inform a police inspector about Rimi. They arrive at Kaashvi’s house to find the nurse unconscious. Arjun informs Kaashvi that Shanti is missing from the house. The nurse regains consciousness and recounts everything to Kaashvi. Kaashvi and Arjun trail Shanti, managing to stay hidden from her. Shanti enters a cyber cafe and reviews the CCTV footage from the pen drive. She is puzzled to see herself in the videos, denying any recollection of the events depicted.

Kaashvi and Arjun also view the footage. Kaashvi confronts Shanti, accusing her of orchestrating the entire scheme. Shanti maintains her innocence. Kaashvi argues that Shanti framed Jagadish because he suspected her and implicates her in trapping Aditya as well. Shanti, feeling cornered and unable to prove her innocence, flees the scene. Arjun attempts to apprehend Shanti but fails. He suggests to Kaashvi that they should alert the police about Shanti.

Kaashvi expresses her disbelief to Arjun about Shanti being the mastermind behind everything. She regrets her earlier suspicions about Aditya. She wonders about Shanti’s motives. Arjun reassures her that they have saved Aditya and emphasizes the need to uncover Shanti’s reasons for her actions.
